I highly recommend this pet store. I did not know Tracy when I called her as a new customer and beginning hobbyist, to order 24 cardinal tetras. I knew her supplier and I knew her reputation. She is an excellent business person and made the transaction EZ and very successful. I did not receive any special treatment, and Tracy does not know me, although she may remember the time an old stranger (who was particular about the water) ordered 24 cardinals. Fifty years ago, I was a successful breeder and a supplier of Discus to Gulf Fish Farms. I also bred many different species of finicky tetras and exotic freshwater egg layers. I am now retired, and once again a beginning hobbyist, but I know what it takes to maintain a commercial tropical fish operation. Tracy knows how to care for her fish, as well as her customers. When I picked up my beautiful cardinals, I also purchased another single fish from her store to sample her water, and I looked carefully at her inventory. I am now another satisfied customer of Pet Cove... and all 24 of my new cardinal tetras are fat, sassy, and colored up in their new conditioning tank.

The store and staff has improved over the past few months. They now seem to make an effort to be more interactive with the customer and seem friendlier than before. They still come off as a little "hurry up your wasting my time, Ive got stuff to do" occasionally. But the effort is there. They still have ich and velvet on the saltwater fish and offer no guarantee on them. The corals however seem to be thriving and are very beautiful. The snake department is still lacking both on knowledge and appropriate enclosures. That is disappointing. Also, there is a newer chick that works there and she is VERY easy on the eyes. She doesnt say much, but DAMN!!! She dont have to as far as Im concerned.

This place is great. Friendly staff and wonderful animals. Frozen foods are much better priced than anywhere else I have been, so are crickets. They have a nice bug collection as well as reptile and amphibian. Beautiful Beta fish and a wide variety of freshwater and ocean fish. They accept trusted local breeders into business and do a great job at what they do. If they seem rushed, relax, wouldnt you be frazzled if you had to deal with screeching birds all day? More than likely a best improvement would be to increase their staff. Its a small store, so possibly 1 person and depending what the future holds 2 more would be best.

I enjoy shopping at Pet Cove and feel that the service and merchandise there are top notch. Tracy is always smiling and helpful with whatever I need that day whether its some new fish or just advice on tank supplies. I currently buy freshwater fish and necessities there for a 55 gallon planted tank. Years ago I was into saltwater reef tanks and they were really helpful with those projects as well. Another thing that I really like about them is that they sometimes deal in higher-end used merchandise and you can get some nice pre-owned tanks and filters for a bargain price.

Great place to go but I advise to go when Tracey is there and not Mel. Mel tries to tell you things but they dont work she told my family to get a small fish tank and put our sick fish in it and we listened because shes supposed to be a fish expert it ended up killing over half our fish and they were our most expensive ones as well. My family always goes when Tracey is there and steer clear of Mel.

I live an hour away but I am always willing to make the trip to Pet Cove because I know Im going to get good service and healthy fish. Ive always had issues with chain pet stores fish, but never had any issues with the fish at Pet Cove. They have a little bit of everything you need for fish and reptiles and they have a great saltwater set up as well.

Great store with helpful and knowable staff. I have a 135 gallon marine tank and could not have done this tank and been successful with out them.They have healthy fish beautiful corals as well as many other pets.Their helpful friendly personalities are what keeps me going back.

Great fish selection except my goldfish from there had a Fungus. I got my Leutistic Axolotl there as well but when I tried to tell the current worker they were housing them wrong (Warm water and gravel. Axolotls need cold water and sand), they completely ignored me.

I always buy my fish here sometimes they do have ick and when I tell them they seem to just brush it off like its nothing but why not treat it if a customer is telling you numours times I just dont get it ? But they are always friendly

Great selection of any type of pet you could want. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices, good assortment of anything you need to keep your pets happy and healthy. I would not shop at any other pet store.

It is the most awesome place to go! The lady was most helpful with our fish. They have a great selection of fish and supplies! If you need anything for fish or other stuff, you need to go there. It is worth it!

They have all of the Legit aquarium supplies. Rocks, Driftwood, filters, etc. None of the mickey mouse crap from the chain stores and the LFS that are trying. For the serious aquarist - this is THE PLACE.
