I have a 6 month old labradoodle with a bit of a wild coat. She is my 1st dog that really requires professional grooming. My girl was looking a little scruffy, so I decided to take her to PetSupermarket for a bath, a face trim, and a "sanitation trim." She has, excuse me, had a fleece coat very soft and easily knotted. She was the cutest fluffiest puppy ever. I brushed her regularly. Anyway, I brought her to Pet Supermarket for a clean up. I get a call an hour later saying her hair is so matted that the groomer cannot brush or comb the mats out and shes going to shave her. I, having no experience, with dog grooming assume this means cutting the hair somewhat short, after all its February and shes a PUPPY, I discussed it with the lady. She informed me her legs and ears were matted. I expected to pick up my dog with shorter neater hair. No, my beautiful doodle dog was shaved to the skin!!!! I didnt even recognize her. They shaved my puppy to the skin leaving only puffy eyebrows and her tail!! WTH??? I instantly burst into tears because I was so shocked. My dog looks like she has the mange. She did not have mats that warranted shaving her bald in FEBRUARY. Needless to say im horrified. I called and spoke to the manager. She seemed to think my puppy needed to be shaved from head to toe, even though she has no experience as a dog groomer. I cannot believe I let this happen. I trusted them, which was a huge mistake. So, its February my dogs skin is exposed, shes itching and licking constantly from the discomfort and shes being attacked my my cat because he doesnt recognize her. Pet Supermarket you stink and I feel so sad for my puppy.

After searching for 5 minutes at the front of the store, I decided to leave without purchasing a Thunder Shirt and new collars. I wouldnt dare interrupt the yakking and yammering session between the THREE employees for something so unimportant as a $60.00 sale. My home store in Melbourne, FL is excellent.

I purchased a Hamster thats just crazy! They offered to exchange it and when I asked them what they would do with it they said they would sell it to someone else. Bad business Ill never purchase from the place again.

Sad. Birds were cold and shivering. Kittens cost $90, even though they can be adopted from Asheville Humane Society for $5 in July. All I bought was a dog toy, and I feel guilty because I supported this business.

So sad to see rabbits and other animals for-sale in small hot enclosures. Pet Supermarket should be able to make a good profit without such cruelty.

Not as many cat food products as Pet Supply Plus which I was rather expecting...the cashier that waited on me--her body odor was atrocious
