We went for help with our Osprey backpacks that we bought at REI in Jacksonville. Let me tell you the staff at Peter Glenn didnt bat an eye about helping us. I highly recommend Molly Tuman. She was the best. Very knowledgeable. Showed us how to properly adjust our Osprey backpacks, what we were doing wrong, even gave us pointers about our shoes, how to tighten them properly to keep heels in place and stop toes from hitting the front of the shoes. Spent a lot of time with us and we are very appreciative. Learned a lot. I highly recommend her, the store, and all the friendly staff. Not a heavyweight backpacking store, meaning no tents, sleeping pads, cooking gear, etc. But for lighter backpacking needs such as shoes, orthotics, socks, gloves, and Osprey packs ( they do carry heavy duty packs), I highly recommend them. Be sure that you know what you want before buying here because returns are definitely NOT hassle free. Theyre nice when youre buying things, but watch out if you ever want to RETURN anything. I bought two pairs of snowboarding boots for my wife and son, then a couple days later decided to just order different ones online and have them shipped to our ski place because we didnt have room in the luggage to bring them with us on the trip. Never wore them. Went to return them and they gave me an attitude about returning them. Not just one employee, but BOTH that helped me. I thanked the second guy for helping me after the transaction because I was raised to be courteous and he actually GRUNTED in reply. I own multiple businesses and customer service should always be the main focus. This store just lost my family and friends as customers as well as anyone who is swayed by this review over $350 worth of snowboard boots. Definitely NOT the best business decision!

I get my skates here. They make sure they fit perfect and do footbeds for my high arches. My feet dont hurt thanks to them. They have a fabulous selection of mid to high quality skiwear and snowboard stuff. They dont sell junk, all is decent quality and even some of the nicer high end brands. In all a nicely stocked and well run store. The clerks are awsome in retail they have to put up with all kinds of dumb things and they rise above it with courtesy and politeness. Never had any issue with a return and they are knowledgeable and cheerful. They have nice things this is not a dollar store so expect to pay for quality.

I have been searching for 2 weeks for hiking boots for an uocoming trip. Ibtried all the usual big stores. I should have started here. Molly and all the folks at Peter Glenn Oakland Park could not have been more knowlegeable, friendly, PATIENT and kind. I got exactly the boots I needed but, more importantly, I found a great resource for my rookie weekend-warrior exploits. Thank you!!

Good product selection, reasonable prices and extremely helpful staff. I recently stopped by to check out an Osprey bag pack for an overseas trip. I strongly recommend this place, go see Molly for all your outdoor gear needs!!!

stay away from the ski techs. they act as salesman and will condemn your equipment to get you to buy their equipment. they come off like liability lawyers. get your skis done at the mountain it is easier and cheaper.

Nice to have resource like this in south FL of all places. Lot of inventory and friendly staff. Store is in a sketchy higher crime area shopping center though so watch where you park and dont leave valuables in car.
