In 2015 I purchased a brand new tracker 175xtw. Was given a so called VIP card at the time of purchase. And was told that the card was good for 20% off all store purchases of items with a bass pro logo. And 10% on all other items in the store except for fire arms. Well thats simply NOT true. I wasnt allowed to use it for purchasing a better fish finder. I was not allowed to use to upgrade my trolling motor. And a number of other items with or without a bass pro logo. Thats the facts. Now a year after my boat purchase I had a major failure of the boats power trim and tilt system. Basically the cylinder tube cracked vertically over half way up the total length. Was told bring to the service center and they would take care of it right away. Well that didnt happen . Dropped the boat off on a Monday and was told u would get a call with a status update in a couple days. That didnt happen either. I called them a full 7 days later to get a status update. And was told by the SERVICE MANAGER that they needed to take a picture of the cracked cylinder and write down the engine hours and email that to the warranty claim center. WTF? Nobody could take 10 minutes of their busy day to do that and at least get the ball rolling? Now Im at 2 weeks and still my boat sits there NOT repaired.. thats the facts. If I had it to do over again. I would have NEVER bought a $20,000 boat there. Its sad that I have to give them 1 star . Because its the minimum allowed.

The gentleman ( and I forgot his name but he is a retired Police Officer from up north ) that sold me my Ruger 9mm was very nice However thats where it ended....The gun was bought on the Dec. 21st a Wednesday and I was told I could pick my gun up on the following Tuesday due to the "cooling" off period. Thursday = day 1 Friday = Day 2 ( weekend doesnt count for some reason ) Monday was day 3 ...pick up Tuesday day 4...OK no problem so I go in Tuesday night and everybody does there check out and they call over the "Elite" guy on duty Tuesday night Dec 27th and let me tell you What an A*&^%^Hole....I guess since Christmas was a Sunday the Govt people get to celebrate Christmas on Monday so that Day didnt count toward my cooling off days ( thats the law and Im fine with obviously ) but your employee told me to come on the 27th and thats what I did so maybe an "IM Sorry" or a "my bad" or any form of apology would have been all I needed but No he had to be a jerk...I will never do business there again Only because of your Elite Level employee working on Dec 27th 2016 at 8:30pm. Suggestion : he needs customer service and communication training. People make mistakes Im cool with that but being a Dick isnt needed Ever

Used to be one of my favorite stores...now you get hunted through the store by the pain-in-the-asses with the clipboards trying to sell you timeshares while youre trying to shop. Why do we have to be chased around by these vultures while were trying to get through the store? I was in there for 15 minutes last week and was stopped by 3 of them! Seriously? What the hell do timeshares have to do with camping and boating anyway? Get them out of there...theyre nothing but annoying. This is NOT the place for them...and it may no longer be the place for my family until theyre gone. The true employees of Bass Pro are awesome and we truly like the store and merchandise...just dont understand the need for these irritants.

I am currently, and will continue to do, all of my firearm related business at The Palm Bay store. This is directly related to my experiences with Shane, Rod, Michael and Nick, who work at the gun counter. These guys are outstanding. They take the time to answer any questions, and have provided me with all of the relevant information I needed to make decisions on several firearms (and a lot of other stuff) that I have recently acquired. Their advise has been spot on and I am very pleased with my purchases. If you need something from the Hunting Dept. go look these guys up. Youll be happy you did. I will also add that this is overall a great store and a lot of fun to visit.

They advertise that they price match, but if you go there to price match firearms, then they will add a fictive $30 transfer fee if the price is too low. I asked if they would do the same if they had to price match another dealer in the area. The answer was yes if the price is too low. That came straight from the manager. What a wishy-washy policy. You would expect better from a big chain like that. Also, they are just way too expensive. Do yourself a favor and go to Academy instead (if they have what you need). Its just a few minutes away. Cross the bridge over the highway and turn right.

Bass Pro graces Palm Bay with its presence! Okay, Ive visited the "original" Bass Pro in Missouri. That one is frankly astonishing. But this one is not bad. Entertainment-wise, you get the hogs, the gators, and the fish. Cool demos of their lures. The selection on fishing, vehicles, outdoorsy clothing, shoes, guns, archery, and cooking, is great! Being able to visit a brick-and-mortar and look around in a store, handle a product, and enjoy a cool ambiance is a breath of fresh air in this day-and-age of buying sight unseen. Enjoy it for what it is!

Customer service was really great. They were very helpful. So the low score really for the company that actually made the product. Ive bought 4 or 5 realtree & mossey oak purses. I have had to return/exchange every one of them because the threads at the seams come unraveled. Most of them it happened before I even got to use them. Found 2-3 on the shoves that were doing it and showed them to management. So the store itself was great. Its some of the merchandise that needs improvement

Ive been in here several times over the last few weeks and every time these guys are incredibly friendly and helpful. Being new to fishing and the area, this staff has spent the literally hours with me teaching me about how, where and what to fish with. I broke a pole and they made an exchange super easy. They may not be the cheapest game in town, but if youre after great product and an experienced staff... This is the place to go.

I stopped in looking for a basic bass fishing set. Unlike other stores that didnt help much or just couldnt bother to explain to me what a beginer should know, the employees at bass pro helped me out and took the time to explain, show and help me select my first fishing set. If you want good customer service, expertise help and honesty about what you need not how much they can sell you, then bass pro is the place for you.
