I thought going to American Freight I would get all the furniture I needed in one place. Was a little disappointed that furniture wasnt free delivery but paid the $80 for it regardless. I purchased a sofa and bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered in the same day. Day of the delivery I get a call saying that they would not in fact be on the same truck was a little annoyed since I had plans to move in that weekend but couldnt do so without a bedroom set to put my mattress on. Then I was given a 5-7pm window, actual delivery truck didnt show up until 10:30pm. At that point I was highly irritated, once the delivery company showed up they just dropped the box in my living room and was going to leave. Then when I asked if they were going to assemble it I was they asked me how much I was gunna pay. I was so in shock and angry that again I was asked to come out of pocket for half assed service. Ended up paying an extra $60 to have them put together a couch only for them to come back the next day to put my bedroom set which was put together sloppy and left a huge mess in my room afterwards. Literally a little over a month of having this platform bed a slat had broke which I had took in and was given a new one thanks to Jeff. Not even a week later the same slat cracked in half and Ive been sleeping with my mattress on the floor for about a month now. In the beginning Ive called and sent pictures to multiple people trying to get an answer or some type of solution. The whole time I was getting a complete run around and no one would even give me the courtesy of calling me back I had to call every single day just to get a single answer. Finally I had spoke to a "manager" who said that he would get me a replacement bed and that he would call me back the next day. Never received a call, called for him the following day no call back. When I finally got ahold of him I got an attitude and was told that he was doing me a favor by getting me a replacement bed and that he was not responsible for replacing a bed once its broken also that the bed I needed was not in stock and that I would have to wait a whole week till he gets a new shipment. Last time I spoke to him was 9/14 still have not received a phone call from that manager. I was so frustrated Ive left several messages for the corporate office and no surprise I have not received a single phone call back. Thankfully Ive gone to an outside company to make completely new slats so I would not have to sleep on the floor after a month. I would definitely never ever recommend anyone going there because the customer service is the worst and the quality of the furniture is trash. Wish I could get a full refund so I could buy furniture somewhere else.

Wow. I purchased a king size mattress along with a mattress cover. The mattress cover came with a 10 year warranty. So I have an issue with the cover, I contacted the store and was given the number to call for this to be resolved. I submitted my claim and send them pictures. Later that day I received an email regarding my claim. I was told that I needed to contact American Frieght to obtain s copy of my reciept. I called and explained the situation to Keno. He (keno ) stated that I did not need the reciept. I became upset because I know what the lady in the claim office with this mattress cover told me that I needed. Well he began to "educate" me on the process s d advised me that I did it have to do anything further. I told him that I had gotten and email in which he (keno) stated that it was a generic email I was floored because how is something generic and I was communicating back and forth with her his email . He then swore me down that it was not true. Wow now Im looking like how in the world does this man have a job. Its embarrassing to the company . Well I called the company for the warranty and spoke directly to the Woman that was emailing me. She said that I should have been able to get my reciept Well I have called everyday and I have yet to get this resolved. My warranty claim has been canceled and Im trying to figure out what I purchased ! Big mistake !!!!

If your looking for a 1-10 rate on American Freight I would give them a 5. The furniture is ok quality. If you have small children, I would not recommend them. My husband and I purchased our bedroom set as well as our living room set from them. Our handles on our dresser comes off rather easily and our bedpost is loose. Our couches (which acquires the most use from movie nights to entertaining guest) is already showing signs or wear and tear. Weve had our furniture for two months now. If your more of a "look at my stuff, im usually home to use it but its beautiful" type of person, American freight may be for you. FYI: DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY PLAN UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU HAVE OFF THE WALL KIDS THAT WILL TEAR IT APART. The warranty they provide is crappy and American freight does not handle the claims. They dont not fully explain the conditions of the warranty. You have to call a 1800 number to file a claim and take pictures of whatever is wrong and email it to an email they provide just for them to CONSIDER processing your claim. Dont let them fast talk you. At the end of the day, they are sales people worrying about their commissions. Once you pay its finale and the friendly reps that sold you are not so helpful anymore. Try the inside of faith farm. They are a LITTLE more expensive but quality is great and you could talk them down in pricing

I purchased a bed, mattress and dresser from A.F. in Fort Lauderdale and was very pleased with the service even after at first being disappointed. It began with the delivery service. I purchased the items early on in the day,however the delivery wasnt made until 11:30 at night (No lie). Upon delivery they began assembling the bed frame and quickly realized the frame was for a twin size bed. I purchased a queen size bed. I had to go back to the store the next day with to exchange the frame. Craig was the original sales person and recognized me. After explaining the situation he apologized and got me the right size frame. He said the queen size frame was an additional $10, at which I indicated I did not think I should pay this as I had to come back out to the store for the frame. Craig then went to his manager and had him remove the charge. Because of this one act I have gone back to A. F. to purchase purchase another bed and additional items from A. F. I dont usually remember sales peoples name but Craigs incredible customer service does not make this a surprise. I have also recommended friends to go there and see Craig for purchasing items. This is a rare find nowadays when customer service is lacking in just about anywhere you go.
