The first thing you notice about John Paras is you are the most important thing in the salespersons mind while he or she helps you. You may think this would go without saying, but Ive been to other stores and I have felt like they were tired of helping me because there might not be a sale at the end of their trouble. Ive never felt that was in John Paras. Ive only purchased two items even though I have been in to the store over and over the compare and get ideas. Today I received my fabulous leather couch. The delivery men were fabulous and funny. I live in a top floor condo. As they unpacked and set up my couch, they remarked on the quality and said this item is popular. I could be sitting here with a couch just a good from anywhere else but I wouldnt have this glow of satisfaction and assurance knowing I got the right deal and my patronage is valued. Thank you for reminding me that customer service is not obsolete.

I went in and looked at a sectional there was a sale price on it but I was debating on the color. I went back and spoke to the sales rep that helped me and a few more but they denied that the price was ever that low. They werent willing to go Check in the database or anything. All three sales representatives just sat on a couch and said nothing to help. The actual price was around 2400 was on sale for 1700 as is u- haul away was in the sign. I should have taken a picture of it. But I figured the sales representatives would be helpful instead of all sitting around on a sofa not doing anything. Dont go to see Norm, Laurie and another male sales rep whom I didnt catch his name.

We were looking for a bed for our son and were not loving anything that we were finding. After driving past John Paras we turned around and stopped in. We had too many choices!!! What we found was perfect for him and he loves it. Wonderful quality, they set it up and made sure the bed worked how it was supposed to. Needed to find a bed for our daughter and started at John Paras. They didnt have anything that we liked and fit what we in-visioned. They went above and beyond and showed us what another location had and our looking stopped. Yes found the perfect bed in about 15 minutes. We will for sure go back to find our next furniture item!!!

Ordered a King Comforter set for $209 that had to shop in from another store. When I picked it up it was wrapped up in warehouse plastic and tape. No original packaging, tje bed skirt was loose outside of the bag and the whole thing obviously a display piece. They left the dislay price tag on one of the pillows that said $199. I even laughed and said "seriously"? The guy just shruged and said it must have been the last one. Very unprofessional, over full price for a floor item. If my wife didnt like it so much I would have got a refund. Not going back to to John Paras again. Crooks.

Purchased a table and couch in early March, was told that they would have it delivered by March 15th and didnt get it until April 14th. Items that need fixed: - Communication (business problem) - Timing (business problem) - Backorder Items (business problem) Positive: - Excellent Employee, great customer service. Outside of the business issues which the staff had no control over - they were extremely understanding and empathic. - Great Sales Team If the business side would improve, you have some kick ass employees to drive the business.

Everyone was very nice. We only got approached by a sales person that then followed us around as we were leaving even though we said we were just looking and wouldnt buy anything that day (we actually went back and bought a table the next day). Sales process (once we knew what we wanted) and delivery was very smooth. No issues.

Great customer service! I bought a couch from John Paras about 5 years ago. The recliner lever broke. I called and it was still under warranty for parts. They gave me new parts and I fixed it myself with some helpful tips from there customer service. Thanks John Paras!

Walked in around the whole store not one person said hi or asked if I needed anything. I even walked past the sales counter. Literally no other customers in the store! Guess I didnt look like a serious buyer to the sales reps!

I went to some other furniture stores who claimed free delivery only to find they wanted me to pay an annual membership fee. John Paras actually delivered for free without any hidden charges.
