Christi made the experience. I am recently engaged, and my now fiancé, Lauren, and I "stopped by" Tallahassee Diamond Center on our way out of Tasty Pastry one evening. I intended on doing some "recon" work. (i.e. ring size, setting styles, and such) Christi was extremely welcoming and professional. She seamlessly navigated this "recon" mission, and I walked out of there knowing exactly which ring made Lauren light up. Christi put this setting aside, and when I returned the next day it was waiting on me. Not only was our experience at TDC a special memory of our love story, but it is one that Lauren and I can relive... I am a filmmaker, and Christi setup the opportunity for me to shoot video of what is Laurens engagement ring being created. (i.e. the removal of my Grandmother and namesakes engagement diamond from the ring, the setting of the diamond into it Laurens ring, and the addition of handmade beadwork around the stone to compliment what is a beautiful one hundred-year-old setting) Their quality is top notch, selection has something for everyone, customer service is an intimate boutique experience, and the price is a fraction of what you expect to pay anywhere else. They take pride in their business. The employees are knowledgable and professional. I am confident that you will have pride in your purchases, and have special memories forever. I recommend TDC to everyone in North Florida.

Today I got a call from the lady that does the engraving for this business. She wanted to apologize about our rings not being engraved. The entire experience with this store has been a fiasco from the start. On our initial visit the young lady told us they lost things all the time. My fiance&amp;amp;#39; and I were a bit concerned about the comment, but tried to laugh it off. Upon going back to pick up our rings at the promised time, there appears to be some difficulty finding our rings. The owner sarcastically tells us the engraver has been out and our rings are not engraved, then proceeds to dump all of rings from the envelope onto the counter like rubbish. He was even sarcastic enough to offer the name of another business that engraves! So the apologizing phone call was from the engraver. She did not, however, apologize for the rudeness of the owner, Sean, nor did she mention that they couldn&amp;amp;#39;t engrave anything because they spilled something all over the envelope containing our rings. They were to size my engagement ring and inscribe two wedding bands. What did I get out of it, a sob story about personal problems and a wedding band that I can&amp;amp;#39;t even wear! Don&amp;amp;#39;t waste your time or money. Go straight to Gem Collection.

I had the most incredible experience when purchasing my fiancé s engagement ring. I spent over two months looking for the perfect ring via the internet and one visit to the mall. The visit to the mall was eye opening and in short nothing at either of the two stores I visited had anything compared to what I purchased from TDC. Sean didnt know me but treated me like I was the best customer he ever had. I knew what I wanted when I got there and within 15 minutes I found the most beautiful, most unique engagement ring at a fantastic price. Service was second to none and the quality and beauty of the ring continues to be the talk amongst my fiancé s friends and co workers. To say she is estatic is an understatement. We got engaged at the Magic Kindgom two months ago and the setting, along with the most incredible ring I couldve ever gotten the love of my life, made for a memory that Ill always cherish. I absolutely love the Tallahassee Diamond Center. Sean and all of the staff are warm and inviting and strive to make your jewelry buying experience a positive one. My husband purchased my engagement ring and wedding band from TDC several years ago and has recommended them to all in the market to purchace jewelry. Their quality and prices can not be matched! Since purchasing my engagement and wedding rings he has returned to buy a beautiful ruby ring to celebrate the birth of our first child and Im sure has something up his sleeve for our baby arriving in April. They are eager to help find just what you are looking for even if it means creating something one of a kind. I often drop by to look around and have my jewelry cleaned and find the staff treats me with as much attention when "just looking" as they would if I were in to spend thousands. The Tallahassee Diamond Center is hands down the best in Tallahassee.

We have been dating for years. I finally got the money saved up...and the courage, and went to look at rings. I didnt know what to expect and was skeptic and cautious about what I would experience. What a great suprise and experience TDC was for me. I came in and was greeted, sat down and explained what I was looking for, what my budget was. I knew enough to know what I wanted and was just hoping that I wouldnt get the run-a-round or be pushed into something I didnt want. The ladies that help me went through a lot of their inventory to find what I wanted and still make my budget, and I got a great deal on the setting. I never dreamed I would go in and find what I wanted and the price I wanted and be done in less than an hour. Thank you TDC for making my experience fun, successful and stress free. If you are buying for the first time I highly recommend you give TDC a chance to help you find that perfect ring.

I have been going to Tallahassee Diamond Center since I decided to propose to my wife. I walked in there with a chip diamond (yeah, not rich and my wife did not want a big diamond) to buy a band. You would think I had walked in asking for a 5 karat diamond, with a 10 karat band. They helped me pick out the perfect setting for it and were as nice as possible. When it was time for the wedding bands, they were the same exact way. When I upgraded the diamond, they were perfect. I am sorry for anyone that has had bad customer service there, i have never experienced that. I am a young state worker who doesnt have a lot of money, and they have been the best to me. They know if I come in there, I am spending between 100-300, but they treat me like I am buying a rolex. Please, ignore these negative reviews and give them a chance. And also remember, everyone has a bad day. I will continue to go to them.

Buying an engagement ring at TDC was a great experience, start to finish. Christi assisted us during the process and was extremely knowledgeable. She educated us on the 4 Cs and helped us narrow the choices based on my fiancees taste of style. She was very friendly but not pushy or "sales pitch" oriented. She presented us a great display of stones and settings and stepped away to allow my fiancee and I to make our choices. TDC offered exceptional service and an extraordinary price that cannot be beaten. We got the ring sized and set in only one day and it allowed for the surprise to be that much more meaningful. Christi was genuinely enthused to assist us and I feel she was an important part of the process and we wouldnt have been able to find a better ring and make the choice we did without her help! TDC is a great place to shop for any sort of jewelry!
