A very unpleasant experience for both seasoned shooters and novices alike. While the prices are reasonable (some tending to be a tad high), the level of customer service one can expect leaves much to be desired. Expect to wait around while the owner lounges in his chair generally ignoring you. Once you get his attention expect little to no assistance in answering your questions or concerns about your purchase. In fact, unless you know exactly what youre there for, have cash on hand, and dont want to actually ask about the products youre about to purchase, youll get what you want. The level of customer service is so dismal in fact that numerous times a customer can walk in and leave without so much as a greeting from the dismissive owner. The owners general disdain and blase approach to his own customers (even returning customers) is so bad that I would recommend that regardless as to what youre looking for, unless you cannot find it someplace else, there is little to no reason to shop here. If you plan on shopping here and expect any kind of assistance in your purchasing, look elsewhere. Buyer beware.

Went in there as a first time gun buyer....he didnt even acknowledge the fact that I walked into his disorganized bunker. He merely grunted at me. I asked him about a good 22 rifle to start out with. No response. I asked him again and he just pointed to his low end guns. I bought a Mossberg 702 Plinkster for $185 plus $20 for the NICS check which took 30 seconds of his "precious" time. Two weeks later i saw the same rifle at Dicks Sporting Goods for $150. I will never buy from that jerk again. He is rude and useless. What kind of business owner would not want to make a sale? FRANK!!!!!!

I just met Frank. I liked him and his gun shop. This is not a sporting gods store having archery and fishing poles. This store and Frank is really all about guns and accessories for shooting only. He has merchandise that that you wont ever see at Simon Peter for example. Huge variety of all kinds of guns. Frank is a serious guy and and runs a serious business. He has no time for schmoozers. He knows his stuff! I would never hesitate recommending him for a buy.

This Guy Frank is a little Nuts besides every other word being a curse word when he talks to you he will not help you at all he throws you out of the store without finding out why you came and he wants nothing to do with you unless he knows who you are as a retired police officer who lives in Rockaway I suggest you go to RTSP on RT 10 a lot better towards you and willing to help EVERYONE who comes in the store besides the front door is open walk right in

Frank is a great guy, no bs about him! Ive purchased and ordered several guns through him and have been extremely happy with how smooth everything has been. Unlike other gun stores Ive dealt with he can make good on his promises to get the specific gun your looking for! He was able to get me an FN ps90 and FN fs2000 immediately!!! While other stores told me those guns were simply impossible to find in NJ!!!

I bought my first AR at Silver Bullet nearly four years ago. Based on recent reviews I see that things have not changed: owner is moody and not helpful, guns are overpriced, and overall customer service experience is bad. There are much better places within miles where I would shop but definitely not at Silver Bullet.

Frank is a great guy. Just bought a S and W 9mm handgun. Reasonable prices, Frank knows his stuff, and hes a Marine. Semper Fi. For all the reviews that dont like his attitude; quit being a bunch of p****ies. Its a gun shop, not a nail salon. Great job Frank. I will be back.

very nice very resenible I was looking for some old amo and he had it he asked me how much I wanted to pay I seed $3 I would pay and he sed no it would be closer to 2 dollars per round which is dirt cheep nice shop nice guns frank is very resenable

Very helpful as long as youre actually buying. If youre just there to browse, no dice. But if you are actually purchasing a gun, or know just what gun you want and need to know when it will be in stock, Frank is very helpful.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Maybe because Frank is a no nonsense guy. Hes been VERY helpful to me and is willing to order anything for you and communicates perfectly. This is a great place to shop.

Go somewhere else to buy a gun. No help whatsoever. I was the only customer in the shop and he could not even get out of the chair and show me either of the models I was interested in. I just walked out.
