Hate it.They run kayak rental as well. This place ruined our Sunday.Works "by appointment only", so Dont go there if you dont have appointment.Otherwise you will end up waiting in the middle of nowhere until they have enough people to sent the bus. We had scheduled pick up at 11am. After arriving on time were waiting for 30min, being told "another 5min and bus will be here"After 30min one of the clerks said, she has to check if water is clear since last time they had some problems with fallen trees .And I was on the phone with her two hours before,when she confirmed "everything is good to go" Obviously there was no bus and she was waiting for more people to swing by.That is such disrespectful for our time. I want relax on weekend and instead of that, we wasted time sitting in the car.Skip this palace and go Micks Kayak instead which is 10min away, river is very nice,with great customer service.

My wife and I went here to rent a kayak Saturday morning at 9:30 am on Memorial Day weekend. The staff was professional, friendly, and quick to help us. They made us aware of the high water due to the recent rains and cautioned us about the fallen trees along Batsto River, which we really appreciated. We had to wait 30 minutes after the paperwork was taken care of before we could leave, due to the morning crowd at 10 am, but we were expecting as much especially being walk ins. We understood that they had to take care of their reservations. We headed over at 10:15 am. The rental included a ride to the site and back. Sure enough the water was high and there were many downed trees, but nothing we couldnt handle. We were promptly picked up after our trip. All in all, a very pleasant experience and we are seriously considering trying Bel Haven Paddlesports again.

My girlfriend and I just took a weekend canoe trip down the Batsto River. The guys at Bel Haven were incredibly nice and, for a very reasonable price, shuttled us up Hampton Forge. Had a great conversation with the owner about the local blueberry industry and how the area had changed over the years. I have my own gear, but would recommend that anyone looking for canoe rentals in the Pine Barrens seek out Bel Haven. Was impressed with how well we were treated.

We walked in today and I was very happy with how friendly and helpful the staff was. We took a 2 hour trip which was very easy for experienced paddlers. Weather was cool and overcast so we had the Mullica to ourselves!

Clean, well organized, lots of gear to look at. Open all day Sunday is nice too. 70% for kayaking, 30% for canoeing. A lake area so you can try before you buy. I came down from North Jersey and it was worth the trip!

Jim the manager is such a great help on advice on gear and kayaks. He is very patient and is willing to work with you on any questions and trying out as many kayaks as youd like!

Bought several kayaks here , as well as equipment. Knowledgeable & friendly staff and unlike some shops, there is the chance to test paddle a new boat.
