I first started purchasing items at this location a couple of years ago and since then, I have spent thousands of dollars. You may ask, why now the decision to post this and the reason is very simple. I am a consumer, but also a business owner in New York City and Customer Service is top priority with me. My experiences with this store and other stores was average until I was lucky enough to meet Shakil, who became my go to salesperson at PC Richards since that first day I met him. He is courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, expedites my visits there, so that Im in and out in no time. If I have an issue with billing, orders or returns, I make one call to Shakil and he tirelessly works to make sure the issues are resolved, with little or no effort on my part. This past week I needed to buy a new state of the art computer. I didnt even think twice before I found myself contacting PC Richards / Fordham Road to see if Shakil was working. Within 30 minutes, I was in the store being received with his usual friendly smile and within another 20/30 minutes, I was leaving, exceptionally pleased if I may add, with the computer. If I have one complaint about Shakil, if indeed one would call it a complaint, it would be that he appears to be overly popular with customers, and without fail while Im with him, customer after customer will walk up and say, "Hi Shakil, can you help me" . So, I guess my secret is out, and others have discovered one of the best salespersons in the business. I feel as if Im in a store on 5th Avenue and I have my own personal buyer. So many of us are so fast to write a review of something when it is a bad experience and most times when you receive excellent service from a salesperson we ignore posting a review. As stated before, Im a consumer and business owner who believes excellent customer service is a top priority with me. Hence the reason for writing this glowing review. Thank you Shakil for your continued professionalism and most definitely, you will be seeing me again in the not-too-distant future. And if i could be so bold as to suggest to PC Richards Corporate Head Office, you may want to ask Shakil what his secret is, then utilize it in your training programs. I think you would find you would be even more successful than you are currently. Happy shopping to you all, and dont forget to ask for Shakil when you visit PC Richards @ Fordham Road.

Nightmare purchase of appliances at this location! Made my purchase on 1/20/17. Salesperson Brandon never ordered my wall oven. I called 5 weeks later to check status of delivery. No one knew where or if wall oven was still available. I explained to Brandon getting billed on PC RICHARDS card he said call customer service at their cooperate office. I call them rep states they dont handle those issues. The entire staff @PC RICHARDS insists charge is processed upon order . This is NOT how it should be processed! Synchrony Bank has informed me PC RICHARDS initiates transaction by notifying a second time to process card. You dont get billed till merchandise is received! Had to put a dispute & complaint with them. Brandon definitely dropped the ball with my order! After all this aggravation I gave him the opportunity to call me & correct issue. Waited 3 days NO call NO order placed from him. No manager call to address problem. My order was in limbo! Office staff also clueless on how ANY transactions should be processed. Finally spoke to Marco today he "placed" my wall oven order today 3/10/17. Exhausting process to say the least! Had to give 1 star.

My sales person was Marco. I initially spoke to him on the phone and knew that I would have a great sales experience with him. When I met him in person he greeted me warmly and he was very engaging. I was very pleased with his electronic knowledge, professional, patience and very pleasant personality and demeanor. I purchased a 55" HD Samsung Curved television. This is my first flat screen TV and I was a little nervous of the transition from "big old tube TVs" to these newest flat screen models and Marco put me at ease by explaining the many, many advantages and picture quality of these TVs. Ive experienced throughout the years many sales persons in regards to purchasing a flat screen TV in various stores including PC Richard & Son and I always left without making a purchase. Marco was the only sales person that I believed in and felt safe in making such a purchase. I am so glad that I made the purchase and glad to have met Marco. I am totally satisfied with my lovely new TV and extremely satisfied with Marcos knowledge, patience, experience and beautiful personality. Sincerely, Diane

Es la mejor de las tiendas de pcrichard mi última compra fue un buen colchón con base reclinables a muy buen precios y facilidad el amigo Cláudio el vendedor, te da un trato muy profesional, te buscas todas la opciones para que quede complacido en tus compras. Recomiendo esta tienda 100x100 buen servicio y puede encontrar lo que busca siempre de calidad. El mánager llamado huascal es excelente siempre pendiente de que este complacido y buscando facilitar las cosas... A pc richard la recomiendo la garantía es real no hay truco.

Bad bad bad bad customer service! Next time I will NOT give them a chance. I had forsaken best buy for these jokers and am truly regretting it! I purchased an asus memo tablet and was told (after specifically asking btw) was the offered 2 yr protection covering accidental damage and was assured it would only to be told days later it wasnt BY THE SAME GUY (LES was his name). I was ignored and when I made a scene they put me on the phone with corporate. Who btw assured me that they would fond a solution and would call me. Im still waiting on that call Mr. Richard. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR PRECIOUS HARD EARNED MONEY!!!-- my husband warned me they were carp and they certainly are. This is his wife posting on his phone. So it says his name but this is Mrs. Horton. Customer service is a great deal and decides whether your business sinks or floats. So by all means continue with the crap service. Its no wonder they have to price their items so low. Because they know there policies and employees are CRAP.

Ive been shopping at the PC Richard at the Fordham Road location for a long time now and its always been a pleasure shopping here. All of the sales people are knowledgeable and are courteous. You can always find out information about any product here. The sales people including the managers will always recommend the products that best suits your needs. One of the managers that i like dealing with is Mervyn. He is very helpful with any questions or concerns i may have. At this point of my shopping experience he has become my go to guy. Whenever i come in to buy something he always gives me the best sales person to deal with and i always have a pleasant shopping experience. You dont get that anywhere anymore. I can honestly say that one of the biggest reasons why i continue to shop here is because of the undivided attention Mervyn and his sales staff gives me. I will DEFINITELY recommend my friends and family to Mervyn and this store. Keep up the good job guys!
