Would post negative stars if possible. Brought my two dogs in for less than 5 minutes to try to grab some treats for them, brought them out because after the hurricane we had a tree down on our fence so we couldnt let them outside and we wanted them to have a good day. One of them is a bit nervous about new people but is very sweet, just a little barky. An associate asked about him and I said he was friendly just frightened of peoples faces. Walked him to the back of the store and he was silent and good. Unfortunately the treats I was there to get were in the busiest area of the store so I walked him over to grab our treats and within 20 seconds were asked to leave the store because people were nervous that I had my dog in the store... a pet store?... dogs make noise. Its how dogs are. Peggy Tori was rude and uncaring and we will not be bringing our dogs back to any petco.

I usually go to this for fish, tarantula, and cat supplies. I typically like the people, its a very eclectic crowd here and I fit in better with my face piercings and weird colored hair. Everyone is nice... when you can find them. Unfortunately I must come at weird hours when its hard to find people, but as I said when you do find someone they are so helpful and kind and willing to chat or teach you about something new. They never have any snails or aquatic frogs or ghost shrimp in stock. I dont necessarily blame them for this, but I feel the company should properly equip the store to take proper care of those types of animal (some excuses for lack of stock being that the snails are always dying and the frogs always escaping)

The groomers do an excellent job. I have a husky shepherd (aka furry one) we bring her for the de-shed treatment and she looks like a new dog every time. Emily is wonderful she is great with dogs. Ive paid less at other places for dog grooming however they dont do as good of a job as Petco. Highly recommend de-shed treatment if you have a Husky! It will help them cool off . Its a little pricey but worth it.

If I could give no starts I would. This is the second pet I have bought that has died without any warning within the first 10 days of purchasing them. I checked on my guinea pig last night at 10pm and he was perfectly fine. This morning at 5am he is dead. I WILL be letting everyone I know to never buy from here and I will be getting my money back for the second time.

The store is clean and well-stocked. The staff is knowledgeable about the products and very helpful with any question about products and other pet-related issues, without giving veterinary advice. Pets are welcome, unless they dont play well with others. My dog is permanently banned for good reason, which is fine with me.

Smaller, clean and organized store. They do not keep as much in stock on the shelves as some of the larger Petco stores but was able to find the major name brand dog foods and treats. There isnt a pet relief area out front if your dog usually goes outside before going in the store

Cashier was rude when I asked a question about online pricing. She told me to buy it online then if its cheaper on their website. I was a little put off by it and went to petsmart instead.

I loved it! Nice variety of small pets and supplies. It is located in a large plaza where you can browse and shop for days! Way better than anything in Tampa.
