This scenario occurred a year ago. I Purchased a gecko from them and got home and noticed she had been walking strange. Took her to the herp vet and he said she had metabolic bone disease from poor nutrition. He said it can only occur over a long period of time and not suddenly. I spoke with the manager and she was definitely not the nicest customer service representative. Quite rude actually. In the end my frustration with dealing with her caused me to hang up. I want nothing to do with this store. I have not had any issues with other PetSmarts before, just this one. Sadly my gecko passed away a month later.

Horrible service! I went there to get some angel fish and the girl there, who looked like she was 12, had no clue what she was doing. "Are they short staff and put the stock girl in the fish department?" I thought. She started to get my fish and right away there was water everywhere. She had no answers to my questions. And in the end she dropped the fish on the floor. Who yes died the next day, poor guy had no chance. I was able to have the opption of returning the fish and getting my money back if he died though. So I guess thats a plus right?? >:(

Took Elsa in to be groomed. It was her second time being here. However, I had to run home and get her records for rabies. I called her vet also to confirm her shot status. Elsa is not 6 months old yet and the vet informed me that Elsa has to be 6 months old in order to get first rabies shot. So could not get Elsa groomed here at PetSmart because she hasnt had her rabies shot yet!!! Even though they groomed her before! Have a new groomer and a new pet store. Totally the run around and their policy needs to be given to customers beforehand.

I have taken my yorkie male puppy in since he was young. They have been wonderful with him, each and every time. I loved how they have helped me out over the phone, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I like the vet I have had, and never had anything go wrong. I transferred both my dogs to them, and one of my cats. I recommend them highly. In Medina, you have to really search and ask people about what vet is good at what you need. I like this place, plus being in Petsmart makes it ever so easy.

Purchased Purina One Venison and Turkey dry dog food for our year old Great Dane and there were bugs in it. White maggot looking worms. Exchanged the bag today for a new bag and this one is even WORSE. This bag we just opened has webs of some sort in it with the white worms dangling from it! So disappointed. I called the store and the guy said, "Oh, they are just grain worms"...regardless of what type of BUG it is, its in my dogs food not once but twice!

Clean, good variety for small animals for food, and supplies. I would not recommend buying small pets from here. We bought two hamsters from here. They both were very mean. They do not handle them. One employee actually decided which one was "nice" by poking them with sticks to see which one wouldnt bite her. We got our third hamster from another store and she was a very nice hamster.

I went here to get fish with a couple of my friends and it took almost a hour to get assistance upon getting help the worker would not get the fish we had picked out, we ended up leaving because of the service. But I have been back and have not experienced this again. Good store wide selection for almost all animals. Good service aside from the one situation.

I love Petsmart in Medina. They are always very helpful. I have two cats, three dogs, fish and a bearded dragon and I go there for all my pet needs. Having Banfield Pet hospital in there is also great. The veterinarians are all nice and my pets are happy to see them. Great care, great prices and convenient location.

Always clean and has what I need! I love that people can bring their pets with them. My kids love to check out the fish & birds. and last time we were there they were having a kitten adoption. They fell in love with this beautiful kittens.

Prices are a bit high, selection is so so. Employees are less than knowledgeable and a bit nasty. Animals are not very healthy and often dont live long. Better than the other Medina pet supply store
