Had a wonderful experience at Continental Honda in Countryside, IL! We were in the market for a pre-owned Certified Honda Pilot with low miles and some extras. We looked high and low for one that fit in our price range and had all we wanted. No one came close in price to Continental. Immediately when I found my car on their website I figured it was too good to be true. We called Continental and set up an appointment with Jimmy Laudonckas. When I arrived that night Jimmy could not have been more helpful. Having my 21 month son in tow trying to climb into every car on the floor, Jimmy was patient, and kind - and helped me out entertaining him while I was looking over the pilot. He pulled the pilot into the service area so I could look it over in the light since it was dark out. The pilot was perfect - it had one or 2 tiny tiny imperfections on the side trim that HE actually pointed out to me which showed he was honest. And after a test drive I knew that was my car. He had me convinced but my husband still needed to see it and look it over so they held the car for us for 2 days when we could make it back in. There was a few minor things my husband asked if they could do to it and they were more than happy to oblige. The finance department and Milan Vasilijevic were also more than helpful. Going back and forth with financing options Milan worked with us to get the very best APR for us and even checked other financing options to make sure they were the best option for us. Jimmy even took my son a ride on the golf cart to appease him as we made one last "look over". And when it was all said and done and we were ready to take the new car home I walked over to my old car (which I was very sad to let go of and trade in- it was my very first car) Jimmy saw that I was a little sad to say goodbye and offered to take one last picture of me with it. It was a small gesture that I thought was very kind and personal. And thats what you get with Continental - they are NOT some big box dealer that will say anything and wheel and deal or pressure you to get you to buy - but its more of a relaxed and "homey" dealership that will work with you as if you have been friends or family for years. To me that speaks volumes - and I look forward to seeing the team when I will bring the pilot in for service. They have gained a loyal customer for any future vehicles in our future as well. So thank you to the Continental Honda team, thank you to Jimmy and Milan, you not only gave me a great car, but a feeling of reassurance and trust that I made the right decision in purchasing from you! Cheers! Katie D.

Since I cant go to multiple dealers to shop, due to weather, and traffic.I requested quotes from almost all the honda dealers for a Honda Accord 2015 Sport model when 2016 are in the market. I got response from all. I gave my criterion: car cost, my list of accessories, county tax, any doc charges.Basically Out of the door cost with out any ambiguty. I asked them for the best number they can give. This dealer(MC GRATH CITY HONDA, CHICAGO, sales lady called Elba) replied saying that they no longer provide internet quotes, but can beat any lowest quote by $500. I got a lowest quote in writing from another dealer(CONTINENTAL HONDA, COUNTRYSIDE, IL, sales guy named Bob Giavonnoni) for 23K on the road and I forwarded that email to this lady and asked whether she is willing to honor her word. She said Oh ! yeah!!" and she urged me to come by with out delay, cause the color I asked for may be sold out. I went there immediately, with my trade in. Several people talked to me and finally backed out of the quote they provided, explaining to me that they are not making any profit and they need probably more money or go for 2016 model to close the deal. I was upset and said to them they have mislead me and better do a thorough evaluation their own quote before asking a customer to come over to their showroom. BTW, I went back to the original dealer who promised me for 23K. The dealer is CONTINENTAL HONDA, in Countryside, IL. There I met manager Mike Bromer even though Bob Giavonnoni(off that day) was the one, who had provided me the quote. He welcomed me and assigned a sales man Frank Rossi to complete the sale. Frank took all the details and made so much leg work between Mike and the internet department and finalised the deal for the agreed price 23000. In the mean time internet dept. manager John Shneider came and thanked me for the business. Every thing is very courteous, polite. I felt being appreciated. Frank is a nice sales man who is cordial, patient. Also special thanks to Mark/Mike (??) from accounting dept. I really felt the professionalism and quality of management there at CONTINENTAL HONDA. I have so much gratitude for them especially after being treated badly at MC GRATH CITY HONDA. You can decide who you should avoid for your purchase. Myself I would recommend to my friends and others strongly about CONTINENTAL HONDA.

This dealership earns a very strong rating from me (and I have rated a handful of car dealerships as I have been in the recent hunt for trading in cars, purchasing new/used cars, etc.). Here is why: Customer Service - 5/5 I was helped by Rich Jaeger. He is a down to earth, wont try to sell you something that he knows you are not interested in or it doesnt fit your needs, and he will do whatever he can to earn your business. He was the main salesman I met with when I purchased my 13 honda accord V6. The initial price that the manager (Mike) settled upon with me was not the greatest. Rich, as a salesman, tried to help out and get my business by even throwing in his very own accessories from his car into mine if I were to purchase it (same car, and accessories were were a few hundred dollars actually!). I was so pleased that I eventually purchased the car, from this dealership at a great price on the car, a great trade-in value for my car. I also purchased an extra interior protection because he got me such a good deal, I wanted to help out with commission! Rich still keeps up with me every two - three months or so and makes sure I am still enjoying my Honda. (talk about consistent, quality customer service. this is rare/nonexistent at other dealers like when I purchased my Hyundai Sonata in 2011 from Naperville Hyundai.) Car Service - I have taken my car two times this past year to this dealership where they promised me free oil changes. Both have been done as promised and I havent paid a dime. Overall - this is a great dealer, they wont try to BS you into getting a car that really doesnt fit your needs/wants (at least this was my experience). Rich was great on the day I bought my car and has been great throughout the past year as well; hope you get a chance to meet him/discuss with him.
