After looking at many choices for a new sedan, we decided on a Mazda 7. Visiting the dealership, our first impression was a good one. The salesperson that greeted us was very hospitable and treated us will utmost respect. The ONE STAR goes to the sales people, the dealership as a whole gets NOTHING (granted the lowest is only one star). Come here if you want to learn more of the vehicles from their salespeople. If you are looking for a new car, do not come here and this is my story: After a few price negotiations with the salesperson with him running back and forth from the managers office, we came up with a reasonable price and everything was decided and good to go. We were close from getting a new car. The paperwork gets finished a few moments later and we were off. A few days after the purchase, I take a look at the financial statements. The car was rung up for approximately 2k more than the negotiated price. Despite the fact that we should have taken a closer look at the statement before the sale was finalized, was the initial trust weve experienced all a sham? We called them and they told us to come in. The salesperson sat my mother and I down and periodically came to check on us. We waited 30 minutes for ANY of the managers before they came to talk to us about this. When one of the managers did talk to us, he had us sit in his office while he continued to do his work IN FRONT OF US. When he was finished, we had a 10 minute conversation giving us the impression that it was an honest mistake and sent us on our way telling us that he will call us the next day to give us our check. Did we get a call? No. We went back a few days later and received even worse treatment. WE WERE IGNORED. When we finally got a hold of another manager, he told us to come back tomorrow. We did, and was told to wait until they called back. They didnt call for a few days so we paid them another visit. Same treatment worthy of farm animals and same excuse theyve been giving us. This went on for the span of a little more than a month. It was absurd. We understood that since the deal went through already, the bank would have to be contacted and transactions reversed and loads of paperwork filled, etc. Give me a break! They did not, at the least, give us any sort of comfort and consideration. We felt cheated, robbed, distorted, taken advantage of etc. After about a month of maltreatment, we got the check by paying another visit. I have a feeling they thought they were going to make easy cash, but was caught with their pants down. The business here is definitely shady and should be avoided. Should I save face for Julian and Mike for being terrible at what they do? Dont make me laugh. These guys definitely failed Business Ethics in school and would throw the customer under a bus for a couple of bucks.

So where to begin with this review? I came in knowing what car I was looking for but because of past experiences at other dealers figured everything will probably be another headache but I was very very wrong. I was immediately greeted by Danny who was extremely friendly and professional. He assured me he would get one of his best men to assist me and he certainly did, introducing me to Marcus. Marcus was extremely knowledgeable in all things Mazda and knew the answer to every single question I could throw at him. We set up a test drive in a stunning Mazda 3 Sedan 2015. He was extremely patient despite the fact this was my first car purchase and even took the time to make sure My Girlfriend, Father, and I were comfortable. Now I walked in knowing my credit was bad so I wasnt really too sure what was going to happen but while Marcus assisted me with everything in the front Danny was in the back talking to the banks doing everything he could to get me approved. In the end, despite all odds Danny and Marcus helped me drive off the lot with a Brand new Mazda 3 with all the features I wanted. I walked in anxious and walked I Extremely satisfied. I couldnt have asked for two better people to assist me in my Experience. I highly highly highly recommend Marcus and Danny for any car youre looking to buy. The Mazda 3 itself drives like a dream and is a phenomenal car. I couldnt be happier! Edit: So its been a bit more than a year since I bought my Mazda 3 from this dealership so I felt it was time for a bit of an upgrade. To say that Marcus Lozano and the team at Oaklawn Mazda were extremely helpful would be a MASSIVE understatement. Not only did Marcus, Danny, Jayson, and Kary do everything they could to get me the Mazda CX-5 at an extremely affordable price but Marcus even got me hooked up with an insurance agency that cut my cost for coverage IN HALF! The people at Oak Lawn Mazda are more patient and understanding than any team of people Ive had the pleasure of making a purchase with. Because of financial reasons I made them wait 2 whole months to finally buy the car. Where as other dealers wouldve harrassed me until I just told them no, the people at Oaklawn Mazda actually cared what I was going through and gave me the time I needed. The car itself is a smoooth ride that feels like a luxury vehicle without being priced like one. If anyone is on the fence about which dealership to go to then look no further than Oak Lawn Mazda and ask for Marcus Lozano, that guy is the best.

My fiancé and I decided it was time to replace our Jeep with something more dependable and within our budget. We did our research and decided the Mazda CX-5 would be our next vehicle. We visited 3 dealers, and unfortunately received little to no assistance at all. Our day was a disaster, but we decided to visit one more dealer, which turned out to be Oak Lawn Mazda! From the moment we walked in to the moment we DROVE off the lot in our new 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring, the service we received from Marcus Lozano was BEST IN CLASS!! As soon as we walked in, we were politely greeted by Marcus, he wasn’t pushy or aggressive, he just asked if we needed help and we said we wanted to see the CX-5. He was extremely knowledgeable about the different CX-5 models, options and asked us directly what we needed and wanted in our next vehicle. This was extremely important to us because he was HEARING what we were saying and ultimately helped us find the best model for our lifestyle. He helped with the negotiation process and with our trade-in, which we got what we wanted!! Aside from the business end of things, he was extremely personable and attentive, including with my 4 year old niece who was with us through the whole process. He noticed she was getting a bit antsy so he was nice enough to put some cartoons on for her and even got her a snack while we finished up, which was awesome. We finished all the paper and as we were walking to a CX-5 there were smudges on and he was already looking for someone to clean it up because he wasn’t going to let us drive our new car off the lot with smudges. Turned out it wasn’t our CX-5 (haha), ours was spotless, and ready to go. Before we left, he even linked my cell phone to the car and waved us good bye. He was with us from the front door, to the garage door – truly exceptional service. These are all the details that are lost in the car industry, but we were lucky enough to find in Marcus and Oak Lawn Mazda. Customer Service is extremely important for us, we dont just give our business to anyone. We are beyond elated with our purchase – our very first brand new (only had 3 miles on it) vehicle and extremely happy we had the opportunity to work with Marcus Lozano and Oak Lawn Mazda. Casablanca put it best: ”I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!” Thanks again!! Adrian and Rosa
