Wouldnt even give a star but had to to be able to leave this review. Ill make this short. I live in PA and son using car while in service. He replaced strut and messed up tie rod. He also took caliper off so it needed bled. I told service writer (David) that. Instead they come up with this bs that master cylinder is leaking into booster and will cost 800 dollars. When I told him to just bleed it he said it wont work and its "unsafe to drive" like I would just go ahead and have it done. Ive worked on cars for about 30 years and know that this place is dishonest. The funny thing is that my brother is a service writer for a Ford dealer in my area and I send him my cars when I dont feel like working on them. I will be showing him that Pennyrile charged me 3.5 hours for a tierod and alignment. Also a rip off. Im going to have my brother look up in Ford book to see how many hours they pay their mechanics for those two things. DONT TAKE ANYTHING HERE especially a 2002 Taurus!!

Ladies and gentleman, if you value your hard earned money what so ever, DO NOT but a vehicle from pennyrile ford! I own a 2008 For F-250 with a 6.4, after noticing power loss and "extra" oil, I took it to my local dealer.....pennyrile ford. After an hour of looking at it, they told me it needed a new motor, that cost $14,882.36! After labor the bill would total around $20,000!!! And i drove the truck there. So I put it on a roll back and had it taken to Champion Ford in Owensboro. After looking at it, they told me the high pressure fuel pump was out, and was under warranty. It only cost me $185. A far leap from a new motor. The diesel mechanic at champion, with 20 plus years experience, could not believe they said it needed a new motor! So guys, buy your truck from someone else, and never go to this place!!!

Kudos to Brian and his technicians in the service department. My 2010 Escape had developed a creak/groan in the front end during acceleration and stopping. I have the extended warranty so I took it to my local dealership to have it looked at. Despite having my vehicle in 3 separate times, for a total of almost 3 weeks, they were unable to find and fix the problem and ended up throwing in the towel (actually telling me their techs were stumped and if I wanted them to keep trying Id have to pay $98 an hour). My coworkers highly recommended Pennyrile Ford so I brought my Escape to them...the very next day they isolated the noise down to a bad engine mount. They ordered the part, replaced it, and the noise is gone. I know where Ill be going for any future service or repairs for my Ford vehicles.

I purchased a new Ford Edge this past weekend! I cannot express how happy I am with both the sales department as well as the service department at Pennyrile Ford. Both departments took time to answer every question I had. They made sure I understood everything about my new car, and made sure I left very happy. Very smooth process to purchase my vehicle! Mike ( my salesman ) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He easily explained all the neat features on my new ride before I made my choice and covered even more before I left the lot. Also, he offered to answer future questions should they arise---even if months from my purchase! Paperwork process was smooth and dealership offered ways to help save me money! I had some other choices of dealerships, but chose to do repeat business with Pennyrile Ford and Lincoln! my wife trades frequently and we just moved back to the area a year ago. Pennyrile Ford was the best place that we found in Hopkinsville to do business with in the local area. They showed honesty and earned our trust to do business with. I own a 2011 F150 that I had bought from our previous duty station, and the service department at Pennyrile has always taken well care of my vehicle with no dishonest facts or errors from the service employees. Needless to say, we have bought 3 vehicles there since last year. And when we buy again- It will be Pennyrile Ford. They treated us like a family friend and was very informative on the car we bought. I despise car shopping. I associate it with stressful, pushy, dishonest people trying to take my money. My experience at Pennyrile Ford was the absolute opposite. We are slow to make decisions and Tony Morse allowed us to take our time (over a year as a matter of fact!) without pestering us or forcing us into a decision. The entire sales, finance, and service team has been wonderful to us. We are so grateful for their laid-back attitude and their genuine interest in the client. We love our vehicle and have referred others to Pennyrile Ford with the same experiences. We wont go anywhere else for our vehicles!!

Highly recommend this dealership. (Bought the car in Feb 2015...late posting review) Havent purchased a car in some time and was reluctant to have to deal with a dealership and salesmen but Pennyrile took away that reluctance. Very patient and answered all my questions. Ricky Sellers is genuine, honest and made the process so easy and didnt push. Love my Ford Edge. Ricky stayed until 8 pm and in the cold weather made sure I understood all the gadgets that came with this vehicle. Ive been in the market for an F-150 for a few months now. Mr. Tony went out of his way to review every single truck on the lot trying to find the one that fit my needs and wants. After looking at what they had, he asked me to wait a few minutes to go retrieve one last truck to look at. It fit the bill perfectly. Got exactly what I needed/wanted and more. Not only that, he and Mr. Ricky were able to negotiate a great deal for me, and were very generous on my trade in. If I needed another Ford vehicle, Id definitely return to this location.

After reading the positive reviews it seems these folks are consistent in their positive customer experience in sales. Rickey and Mark seem genuine and made the process pleasurable and painless. I literally told these two what I was willing to do and they made it happen without the hard sell to "squeeze" every last penny. They obviously understand the value of return business. Rickey Sellers is great to deal with and the experience was a pleasure so ask for him when you get there. I will definitely do business again with Pennyrile Ford!
