I went into Pet Supplies Plus on Sunday to buy some Wellness brand food for my dog. There was a large sign outside stating that Toy/small breed dog food was on sale including the Wellness brand. There are several different kinds of Wellness food and there were sales signs all over the place. I grabbed the bag i needed (the last bag) and headed to the counter. The cashier scanned the bag and it rang up higher than I expected even after my pet supplies plus card discounts. I asked if she could check the price because I thought this bag was on sale. She begrudgingly called someone for a price check. The other employee took the bag and went to the back to verify the price. She came back with the bag and said "This bag of food is not on sale" to the other clerk and walked away. The original clerk asked if I wanted the food and I said no thank you. The cashier then tosses the bag under the register. Neither employee apologized for a mix up or explained how other varieties may have been on sale but this one wasnt. Nothing. No customer service skills to be found. I asked the cashier for the manufacturers coupon I had given her back. She had already put into the drawer assuming i would buy the food. A manger had to to come open the drawer for me to get the coupon. Amazingly he did not ask why he was opening the drawer or why the cashier was returning a coupon to a customer. I think any manger with customer service skills would have been able to identify that something was wrong and would have tried to fix the situation. I will never go back to Pet Supplies Plus.

OMG!!! BEWARE!!! CUSTOMERS~I bough a fish from *Pets Supplies Plus* it killed ALL my fish in my salt water aquarium>....when i went back to the store...TWO of the girls told me the fish had been in the sick tank with ick ... the girls also told me it was put back in the sale tank one said she even asked why it still had white dots??? was told it was only age?! the manager assured me no problem they would replace all my fish *just make a list of what was lost>>>Now over two months later still no fish! a different Owner/Manager called me and said he would take care of all this and replace my fish~ well here it is three more weeks and no fish! NO CALLS! no emails!! Ive sent numerous emails with NO REPLIES!!!...to date Dec 4th....WELL NOW IM GOING TO BUY ALL MY FISH FROM ASHEVILLE AQUARIUM in Asheville AND WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO TAKE THE STORE TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT JUST TO HAVE THEM PAY FOR THE FISH THEY PROMISES TO REPLACE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! FYI!! BEWARE THIS STORE WILL NOT BE OF ANY HELP IF NEEDED~

More than it appears! Good prices on everything, even better prices when you catch a sale. The fish department looks humble until you look closely and notice that the staff are very knowledgeable and love to talk everything fish. They have the best snails in town and usually some cool cichlids can be seen hanging out in their tanks. Also, they are willing to special order any fish you want.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thunder storms fried my radio fence last night.It would take at least a week to get a new receiver through company by mail. Nellie ,the manger, set me up with a new receiver at no cost ,so my dogs wouldnt be a danger by not having a fence( even though I didnt buy it from them). GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
