We were in the market for a fireplace insert or ceramic log set for our new home. We didnt know what we wanted, just knew that we wanted to do something for our new home. With that, we drove out to Mad Hatters showroom and was assisted by Shaun. Shaun spent time explaining our options and costs. He also explained the installation costs and the services they provide. At no time during this process was there any attempt to make a hard sale. We could have left the showroom to think it over having been given the price for the log set, accessories, and installation costs. We decided to move forward with our selection. The installation and setup went very well. The technicians prepped the area with drop clothes and wore shoe covers while in the house. They made sure that the furniture and work area were covered prior to the installation. The logs and ambers were placed in a matter that provided realism to our gas fireplace. Afterwards, they ensured that everything worked and cleaned up the area of any packing materials and debris. Overall, very happy with the pre-sale and installation of the fireplace log set sold by Mad Hatter. And would recommend them for those living in metro Atlanta.

Cannot say enough good things about the company and the crews that came out to my home. Do not be fooled by others "$99" bogus deals on duct cleaning, youll get what you pay for... I originally scheduled The Mad Hatter to come out and clean my air ducts and dryer vent, but after they inspected my ducts and showed me the photographs, they told me I didnt really require the air duct cleaning service. While they could have kept that information to themselves and just charged me anyway, they instead recommended another product to help alleviate some of my wifes allergies (why we thought we needed the ducts cleaned in the first place). They were able to schedule me in just a few days later to fit my schedule and installed a CAP500 system and also cleaned out the dryer vents. The air quality and dryer time have both drastically improved in just a few days! I cant say enough about how professional, courteous and friendly Sean and Duane were while helping me and my wife breath easier. Thanks Mad Hatter!

The original owner of my home had a gas log system put in by Mad Hatter years ago. I was having trouble getting my system started and didnt know where to turn. I called them up to see if they could look up the model installed. Not only did the person who answered the phone help with that she also offered some basic troubleshooting after asking what the issue was. Then she transferred me to a technician who helped me out in minutes over the phone. They never tried to sell me a service call or anything. They were very helpful and pleasant. When I do have a need they can help with you can be sure Im calling Mad Hatter first! They provided great service and Im not even technically a customer! Its tough out there in the service world but THIS is how you win customers.

Honesty and Professionalism. Contracted Mad Hatter to complete duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Zak and Harvey arrived as scheduled. Very professional, they introduced themselves and put on protective foot covers before entering the residence. After an initial inspection of my ducts, Zak asked was prompted me to have the vents cleaned. I had just purchased the home and assumed the ducts would need cleaning. Zak provided photos he took during the initial inspection showing a clean system- it’s good to see a contractor that’s HONEST. The dryer vent was another matter, dirty and was thoroughly cleaned. In lieu of cleaning, I had the ducts sanitized. Thank you Mad Hatter for true PROFESSIONALISM.

I hired Mad Hatter to replace a faulty ignition switch for a firepit in my backyard with a manual valve (because their price to actually repair the switch was thousands of dollars). When they did the work, they decided not to put in a new manual valve, but just use the existing valve on the gas line. In total, all they did was (a) rip out the old ignition box; (b) cut out a small section of rusted pipe; (c) add a bit of new pipe and a 3/4" connector to the existing flex pipe; and (d) spread some new glass media. In total, the parts for this could not have cost them more than $50. My bill? $1,437! The work may be fine, but they are completely overpriced. I would not use them again.

Zak and Daniel came to my home to clean the ducts and the dryer vent, and not only were they prompt, they were professional, as well as refreshingly honest. They didnt hesitate to tell me there was no reason to clean the ducts as they looked clean and brand new (as evidenced by the pictures they took in front of me on their iPad), and they showed me pictures of the dryer vent before, as well as after it was cleaned. It seems like trustworthy companies like this one are hard to come by these days, but I wouldnt hesitate for a second to recommend Mad Hatter to everyone I know. Zak and Daniel, thank you!

Sean & Javier were on time and very polite. They left the area like they had never been there, vacuuming up every bit of dust from the chimney sweeping, and converted me from a gas log set to a wood burning fireplace (at my request). They also had recommendations for sellers of high quality kiln dried firewood, and took the time to show me where my shutoffs were and showed me what needed to be removed from my mantle (some low hanging Christmas decorations) before starting a fire in the fireplace. I will use them again for any inspection/cleaning/maintenance needs in the future in regards to my fireplace.

Mad Hatter is top notch. Very knowledgeable people, excellent customer service and great products too! I get my chimneys swept exclusively by them, and they have installed a wood stove and done several chimney inspections for me at various properties. After receiving several quotes and opinions about solutions for chimney problems, I wouldnt trust anyone else but Mad Hatter. Real. No Nonsense. Extremely knowledgeable. Reasonably priced. Very personable people. What more could you ask for? I hope they stay just the way they are forever.

Weve had The Mad Hatter out to clean and prepare our fireplaces and to have duct work cleaned for our thirty year old home. Both times techs came in their Mad Hatter shirts and worked diligently to clean and sanitize. They took care to protect the home with shoe booties and mats. The tech who did the fireplaces provided us pictures of the inside of fireplace chambers, offered recommendations for repairs that needed to happen and pointed out items that were unsafe. The team that did the vents was very organized and efficient.

Sean arrived promptly as promised and immediately began cleaning chimney. Did a great job as ours was very dirty. Now its nice and clean and safe to use. Not messy at all while cleaning the black soot. Sean was very thorough and friendly. We also wanted new gas logs and a new fireplace door so Sean measured for those and we have them on order from Mad Hatter. Looking forward to them coming back and installing them soon. Great customer service and easy to contact and work with. I would definitely use them again.
