I leased my very first BMW a few years back. I was surprised I even bought one to be honest, because when we went in there, we were ignored for quite a long time until a very nice salesperson had walked up to us and FINALLY helped us. We almost walked out! Aside from him, thats where my good experience ended. I decided because of this, I would not buy another BMW after my lease was up. I tried to turn the vehicle in and the so-called manager was so incredibly rude and cold and acted as if we were bothering him and seemed incredibly annoyed by our existence. At the end, he shook my hand and I wanted to throw up. He could not have been any LESS sincere and it was more than obvious! I paid my payments on time, every month for close to the 3 years I owned the car. I dont understand why you would treat someone who bought one vehicle from you like that! I could change my mind and come back to BMW, so thats not really a good move or a very smart business decision, not to mention low class and incredibly rude! It was because of many parts of the experience, aside from my incredible salesperson that I decided not to buy another. I am extremely loyal and wanted to buy the car, just so I could give the business to my wonderful salesperson. But, at the same time, I am also a person of principle and I just couldnt do it, based on other issues and now finally this last issue when turning my car in. I am seeing these bad reviews all over google and I wished I would have checked them out before I bought this so-called luxury vehicle from a dealership that treats customers in this way. There are many that work there that act as if they are above you, on every level and that alone is just low class. Get over yourself! There are some at this particular dealership like this manager today that treat there customers as if they are a nuisance or beneath them. I hope it was worth it because now I will never buy another car from that place and if I do choose BMW again,(which I seriously doubt after this) it sure as hell wont be Erhard! I wish they had NO stars, or negative stars to rate this place, because thats what they really deserve. If you are in this kind of business, then you are in the business of people! You dont judge them, talk down to them, treat them as if they are an annoyance. You treat people the way you would want to be treated AND as people are expecting to be treated when buying a so-called luxury vehicle. Instead you dont do the opposite and treat them as if they were mud on your shoe. Get it? Then maybe you wouldnt have so many bad reviews and people like me not ever wanting to purchase anything from you ever again.

I had a very unfortunate interaction with one of the sales staff, Brian. My wife was with me and said it was awful. I went there to look at, test drive, and make an offer on a new BMW. Of note, BMW Financial Services was offering a lease deal, which I was looking to take advantage of. We sat down, and Brian was giving me a "deal" by offering me the car $1000 below MSRP. This is a car that KBB, Edmunds, TrueCar publish is selling around invoice (a $4000 difference from MSRP). He never really talked about the sale price of the car. He used all the tricks of the trade (listing $200 for detailing the car, $50 to fuel the car, etc), and listing how much the dealer makes on the car. I made an offer below invoice, and this only made him angry. Anger and frustration shouldnt be a quality in a salesperson. I was not willing to budge on my offer, which he concluded "were just beating a dead horse, arent we?" Regardless, I went to BMW Farmington Hills where I worked with Steve and he was able to get the car, offered the BMW lease deal, and even accepted my offer, which was better than the current lease deal. Essentially no haggling. We talked about the sale price of the car! Steve didnt talk about how much the dealer makes, how much to detail the car, fuel the car, etc. True, the final deal wasnt as low as my initial offer to Brian, but Steve at Farmington Hills was nice, easy to work with, and didnt make me feel like I didnt do my homework or research. I was willing to pay more at Bloomfield Hills, and admittedly maybe Brian and I got off to the wrong start, and I would have been more willing to negotiate a deal if he would have only treated me with a little more respect as the informed customer. I think it all depends on which salesperson you use - Ive read good comments about Mike and Sabrina. It was my fault not to ask for them.

RUDE salesman, unpleasant experience. Came in with my coworker who was looking at a lightly used 340i with M-Sport package that was listed on dealers website. Hopped on a golf cart with Richard Sterr, and he couldnt locate it. We drove around the lot twice and he finally found a 340i without M-Sport on the lot, and said he didnt know where the M-Sport one was that my coworker was interested in. My coworker was also interested in a new M240i that was also listed on dealers website as in stock. When we asked Richard about it, his exact words were "I dunno where it is" I couldnt believe how rude and unwelcoming this guy was! We thanked him for his time, and walked around once more, and ended up finding the 340i M-Sport behind another car ourselves. Went back inside and got Richard, and he came out with us to the car and lit up a cigarette while we were looking at it (Im sorry but this is very unprofessional when looking at a $50k car). Took it for a test drive, and my coworker was told to come back in when the sales manager was in to negotiate a better price. Overall experience was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I had a much better experience at BMW Rochester hills where I bought my own car, they treat customers like customers!

Awful experience! I walked in and asked about a BMW 3 series with specific packages I had in mind. Turned out they dont have that so I considered what they actually have. It was promised that I will get a call about some other used model next day (never happened). While the sales advisor explained me some general financing things, he wanted to pull my credit score the first day "to lock the rate" which sounded a bit pushy and I refused. Upon coming home I started to browse their inventory online and there was one model I was interested in, Ive sent an email to advisor, havent gotten any response for more than one day and only when I called in and left a message he returned my call just to let me know that the car I asked about is Beige and not Silver like its specified on their web-site. He said that he responded to my emails but they have some "technical issues" at the moment so I havent gotten anything from him. I wasted a week with them and finally gave out, all these communication problems and inability to follow up, it felt like they didnt want to sell me the car in the first place. Ended up buying a car from BMW of Rochester Hills and cant be more happier.
