I routinely make a 40-mile round trip from across the Hudson to shop here. Huge selection, near-instant checkout no matter how busy the place is, and great prices particularly if you join their shoppers club. And they couldnt be nicer; if you seem to be wandering around, a knowledgeable employee is sure to ask if he or she can help. At times when I run out of a single bottle of something, whether its Scotch or Campari, Im always stunned by how much more the product costs at a local store.

I was refused service here, because my age was "too close to 21" and I had an out of state license. My friend who is from Ohio and 6 months younger than me was not refused service. I am at least one foot shorter than her and attribute this to their refusal. I was purchasing a biodynamic Syrah from France, not a six pack or beer or hard liquor. They were not polite and treated me like a criminal. I have been 21 since October 13 and have never experienced such rude service.

Last time I went here, a woman was giving out free samples of vodka in little cups. Bill Murray made it, or something, and there was a picture of him on the table. It tasted pretty good I guess. Later, as i was browsing the shelves, I stumbled upon a picture of Dan Akroyd holding a skull shaped bottle of his own signature rum. And that woman had nothing to do with it, thats just how big their selection is.

The place to buy beverages in Duchess County. Great and extensive everyday wine selection. Huge cellar for wine enthusiasts. Every kinds of spirits at all price points. Huge store, huge selection. Ask the staff for help. They know everything. Had them make recommendation for local wine for holiday business gifts.. everyone loved it.

A must go to place for the holidays. Staff is very knowledgeable and will not stear you to the most expensive wine or liquor but to rather what your taste run to. Let them know what you like and they will give you different selections. Good selection of all types of wine and alcohol. Earn points to put towards future purchases

This place is like wine heaven. Ive never seen so many choices in one place. If you need help, someone is right there for you. But if you just want to browse they leave you to yourself. Best experience Ive had at a wine store. They also sell many many others types of alcoholic items, hard liquor, specialties, etc.

Yes this place is huge and yes the prices are very reasonable, the hidden gem in this place is the staff and their knowledge and willingness to help. Peter in particular is more than willing to work with your tastes and with your budget. He has helped us on more than one occasion and his taste is excellent!
