An excellent selection of rums at a range of price points with attention to high quality sipping and mixed drinks. Prices are always good, and more often than not excellent. Owner seems to be experimenting with different brands to keep an interesting mix. The "warehouse" type atmosphere - increasing in popularity where I live in New York City - appeals here, too, to help keep prices in line, selection simple and the stock out where you can see it. Case and multi-bottle discounts available, too. All in all, a great place to shop.

I have lived in Vestal for 7 years and I frequent Liquor Town once/week or so. I have read the reviews about feeling like they dont know me when I walk in. I have spent easily $1000 there in the past year alone! Why dont they take time to get to know me? The 8 older guys that work there are not friendly at all. Do I keep going back, yes, b/c their prices are really low and I love their wine selection, but come on guys, maybe a hello before I say hello to you?

Selection of wine is good but not great. However prices are very good. The only negative is the UNfriendly staff. Staff has the personality of a wall. There was one guy last Christmas who took the time to suggest wine but since then the staff wants to ring up as quickly as possible and get you out the door. No personality at all. And Ive heard this from MANY people and people even joke about it.

If you look a day younger than 21, the old geezer of a man working at the front counter glares you over and takes 20 minutes examining your license. I like to shop in places where I dont have to feel like Im using a fake when I have legitimate identification and Im of age.

Some folks swear by Robbies Discount Liquor, but Liquor Town is my favorite place in the tri-cities area for wine and spirits. Super nice staff, always discounts, always specials going on, ample choices but it still feels homey. Great place to order a case of wine!

Great prices..for taking wine to a special event, very helpful staff! The employees will go down the aisle to assist you, if needed. Other liquir stores just point out a common direction! Keep up the great customer service!

This store has the lowest prices Ive seen in the area on liquor - their entire selection is priced competitively. In addition, they have a great selection of bourbon, including a lot of stuff from smaller distilleries.
