Incredibly friendly staff with the brightest smiles and a genuine concern for all of their customers. As an individual who comes here often, I have never failed to feel right at home at this fabulous establishment. It is not only a comforting environment with spectacular ambiance but it also serves a delicious assortment of beverages as well as delectable treats for those with a sweet tooth. For days when decisions are a tad more difficult to make, the staff will very patiently and enthusiastically recommend a favorite of theirs. Additionally, for those naturally inquisitive folks, Gary will satisfy your curiosity by informing you of the health benefits of the various tea blends. And for those with a particular favorite beverage, your regular will be committed to memory leaving you feeling like a very special human being. This is the perfect spot to do work whilst enjoying the bright sunlight, spiffy humans, and overall aesthetic. You wont regret incorporating this place as your second home, or merely stopping by for an unbeatable refreshment! There is absolutely no coffee shop like this one.

Starbucks fans would love this place. Espresso connoisseurs... well, keep searching. Coffee - 3 stars Espresso - 1 star Tea - 4 stars Coffee with your sugar - 5 stars Tried a shot of the espresso for here. Came in a plastic cup. Bold with no reason, uninteresting, dull. Tasted overdone. Macchiatos here apparently come in different sizes, both types of which are flavored. Frappes are popular here, which explains a lot. A shot of mediocre espresso hidden underneath flavors filled with milk, cream, and sugar. Ill admit it is tasty, but Im about the coffee. This review was saved by the tea, as well as their trendy interior and their support of local bakeries like Marthas. They have a huge option for different tasty and authentic teas. My only criticism is half of them are riddled with "natural flavors." You can tell Im one of those people who think Starbucks ruined coffee, and you can tell this establishment thinks Starbucks is coffees savior. Well agree to disagree.

I am so happy this place opened up! Ive been coming here ever since for my coffee and mind you I was religious to Starbucks. Ateaz is by far better than any cafe chain Ive experienced. The products are natural and organic. I feel like the area really needed a nice cafe to come unwind. I dont think they are going anywhere since they are consistently expanding the brand. The typical crowd here are loyal customers from the neighborhood who truly love the service and obviously the amazing drinks. My favorite part is the pastries which come straight from the famous and most popular cafe in queens "Marthas Bakery" there is always a line out the door, now its delivered fresh everyday to Ateaz! How the owner continued to keep the prices the same as Marthas is wonderful. It goes to show they care for the customers. Id recommend this place to all who love a nice atmosphere, great service, and even better refreshments!

"Organic or Regular SKIM milk?" Boy that was the first time Id ever been asked that. Dropped by for a quick bite. Hard the dark coffeewith organic skim milk. Coffee could be a little bit hotter, but a very tasty DARK roast (organic, of course!). Not sure if they have WiFi, but hooked into TimeWarner (now Spectrum, whatever that means) ubiquitous hot spot. (2017-APR-09 they do have strong, fast WiFi. Password is on card just past register. They also have WiFi printing @ $0.35 per page) Had a Brownie, which comes from Marthas Country Bakery on Austin Street (aka Marthas brothel of desserts). So of course very good food. Wheelchair accessible.

I own an online based business and a few times per week I like to catch up on my reading and as any Entrepreneur would know, working from home sucks because its quiet and its hard to be social with the walls. So I come to Ateaz.. this place really has a "homie" feel to it and the staff is amazing! Youre always greeted and welcomed like youre family and of course the coffee is "organic" and always fresh. My favorite is the Americano (double shot baby!)... If youre in the area, you need to stop in and check this place out. Comfy couches in the back and a communal table in the front. You wont regret it!

Love this coffee and tea shop! Its local and a great healthy alternative to franchises you can find on street corners. They offer a variety of teas and coffees and even have personal canisters available for purchase. Dont hesitate to stop by! Theres comfortable seating including high stools in the front of the shop, a comfy couch in the back by the register, and tables. Additionally, they offer free wifi to customers. Its the perfect place to bring a laptop and catch up on work or read a book while you sip fresh tea or coffee. I love the atmosphere of this place as well.

What a fabulous establishment. Kew Gardens has been like a hot beverage desert for years, parched and pining for the sweet leaves of an organic tea establishment. The variety of teas, sweets and coffees is truly abundant. And let us not forget the humans that inhabit that magical land across the counter. The beverage professionals at Ateaz are top notch. The finest smiles and friendliness the industry has to offer. A more desired location for communing and working I could not imagine. Tis a fine addition to Queens. May its days be long and fortuitous.

I recently moved back to Queens and it is one of my new favorite places. I come here at least once a week for a friendly face (Gigi is one of the few), good cup of tea or coffee depending on my mood and to get work done. Their delicious display of cakes from Marthas Bakery are always tempting. The atmosphere is great to get work done and to organize your life (lol, at least for me). I highly recommend visiting Ateaz.

This is a fantastic place, I discovered it about a week ago and there hasnt been a single day where Ive missed out on its beautiful and delicate concoctions of teas and dreams. Ask for the Ambrosia, it truly is a drink for the Gods. Then, take your finely crafted beverage to a different coffee establishment and laugh in their faces. They will never know your pleasure. P.S. come by sometime, I live here now

This place is an oasis of tea in Queens. Im not a coffee person and I like working outside of home so I usually end up in cafés. I like to try different places but I come here 2-4 times a week because they have gteat wi-fi, lots of outlets, and most importantly, a nice selection of loose leaf tea and pastries. The tea is good, the vibe is chill, and the people working here are super cool. This is my spot!

Ateaz is a lovely and much needed addition to the Kew Gardens community. They have yummy pastries - try the carrot cake! Add some nice organic teas & coffee, and your favorite WiFi enabled device and you will find yourself in a welcoming, warm space. Definitely a hip addition to Kew Gardens. Late hours are a plus and not too busy on a weeknight if youd like a place to write or meet friends.

Ateaz opened here and the crowd went wild. I have made it my second home. The manager and staff are welcoming and the choices you have for coffee or tea are numerous. I am finicky and Gary, the manager, has actually made a special blend for me combining various coffees. They dont rush you and its a wonderful place to recharge. I love the fruit tarts.
