While the prices at Star Liquor Store are competitive and at times, lower than other stores in the area, it is not not safe place to buy your holiday cheers. The shady characters that snake around the building are to be watched with both eyes. Make sure that your car doors are locked and dont expose any money outside of the store.You will undoubtedly be approached for a hand-out or a favor. Most of the clerks are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the store products. However, if at all possible, try to avoid the owners daughter; she two-faced (she will smile in your face and when you leave she will talk about you). I have witness several bad encounters she had with customers. Shes loud and an unpleasant person to exchange words with. You cant miss her: she short and stout with red hair. As soon as you walk in, if she there, you will hear her big mouth.
