Price tags are through the roof! They moved the entire store just to have an alcoholic section which is again, EXPENSIVE, and no one buys it there since you HAVE to show ID every single time whether or not you are 21 or 80 years old. Even more so, if you need to put air in your car tires, youre better off going elsewhere. Youll have to pay $2.00 per minutes of using it and it used to be free to do this. Better yet, I worked there for 2 years and they wouldnt hire me back due to the fact that my application was non-competitive and I had another job offer that had better working conditions and a higher pay rate. Let alone Giant FORCED me to choose which place I wanted to work at and of course I chose the other place. They also get rid of older people whove worked there like me and hire much younger people so that they can pay them nearly minimum wage and keep all the money to themselves. I wouldve rated this place 4 or 5 stars since it was REALLY good at first, but everything economically has grown very badly over the course of the years. In conclusion, thats why I rated it a 1 star place and also why I will ONLY go there when it is my last choice to do so.

I was a little bit disappointed with my experience here. My boyfriend and I ran into the store to grab some fruit around 11:30 pm. The store is gorgeous and I highly recommend shopping there during the day. The only issue that we had was that the only lanes that they had open were the self-checkout. This is not an issue and I love going through the self-checkouts, but there was no one manning the station. This means that when our scanner said that we had to wait for an attendant...that we had to wait a good five minutes before someone came and fixed it. I would not have had a problem with this, but the guy did not say anything to us about having to wait that long. I was very disappointed in the service and a bit surprised. It was our first time going into that Giant and I think it will be our last. Stick to Wegmans or Walmart; both on the Pike as well.

Moved to the area recently from New England. Giant and Stop & Shop (our version of Giant) are owned by the same company. Pretty much set-up exactly like S&S, except they sell beer and wine here at Giant. Unless there is competition in the area, prices will be a bit higher. But coming from New England, all grocery prices here in PA are less expensive. Also, same issue as S&shop they never have enough registers open, or twenty self check out, and two manned registers. However; I prefer Wegmans, they have a much larger selection of just about everything.

Huge selection of products, much better than the store on Simpson Rd. Everything is organized well and in its place. The employees are kind and always smiling. Produce doesnt keep long after purchase, so use it very soon after purchase. This store gets crowded and the customers are rude, but the store cant really do much to help that. Overall, my favourite Giant to shop at.

Clean, nice cashiers, now they have PeaPod. They deliver food to your house. Despite a storm, they deliver everything in a timely manner. Im very impressed by this service. The guy brought the groceries in, and checked it all. He was super well groomed, and polite. Im so happy!

Expired product on shelves, brought to multiple employees attention to fix. Issue with bonus card, went to customer service and was blatantly told that they had no idea and when management was involved was told the same thing.

Its a good grocery store... just not a great grocery store. The produce is so-so. The fish is meh. A decent meat department. The wine selection is actually very good.

Terrible parking lot, always crowded. You must pay for your beer/ wine separately at a designated register --- inconvenient for shoppers are are also preparing meals.
