Bargain market grocery outlet (formerly Amelias) is pretty nice. It is a closeout or last chance style grocery store. While they dont have newspapers, a deli or lottery, they do have a nice amount of general groceries. Coffee, potatos, hash browns, rice, sausage, etc. Veggies and fruits are on par with, say, Karns or Giant. But, can be not quite as fresh. We enjoy stopping here to spice things up in our kitchen. Variety is key. There are many brand names youd expect to see elsewhere. Hillshire farms, Heinz, Welchs, Turkey Hill, etc. But many offbrands as well. For example youll get Hills Brothers coffee instead of Maxwell House, or youll get Nalley baked beans instead of Bushs baked beans. With that being said, one of the cons is that you have to carefully review the expiry dates on items. They dont really carry scratch & dent, but some dry goods (chips, granola bars, etc) are close to expiry date. Private lot, cash, visa and mc accepted. Currently open 7 days a week, no cash back. File under: Budget Friendly.

Great place to save money on grocery items. I had great customer service here. The service and selections exceeded my expectations. The manager is very accepting of the transgender community. I KNOW because I spoke with Courtney at lengths on the issues pertaining to the transgender community. She was and is affirming at so many levels...

I like this grocery store. I love that they carry organic items for a much smaller price. My only complaint is when you find a item that you would like to try and you dont next time it is not there. With certain items they lack consistency . But overall a wonderful place for those who are on a budget .

My husband and I are in Harrisburg on business. I wanted some snacks and things for the hotel room. This was the perfect place. Loved the products they carry. The prices are unbeatable! Staff was friendly. Plus if there is something you cant find here there is a good Dollar General in the same plaza.

I love this store! The staff is friendly, the prices are great, and I enjoy trying the new things that come in all the time. The whole atmosphere is just much more relaxed than at other grocery stores, which for me makes this my preferred place to shop for most things I need on the regular.

Great selection of organic foods, prices are reasonable, staff is well trained, helpful, thoughtful. ...and the housecleaning products, including unknown brands are effective . Personal care items are low priced brand names. Wish I would have known about it sooner!

Love this place for its constant new items at great prices. Staff is usually very helpful (there was a bad apple working the register once, but I dont hold that against the place). Great place for great deals.
