We went here today looking for guinea pig cages. We couldnt find them at first. While I walked around the store my husband asked a worker there if they had guinea pig cages big enough for 3 adults. He showed them where they store the cages, above the fish? That doesnt even make sense. He tried to sell him a cage made for mice and small hamsters, ensuring him that the 3 adult guinea pigs would fit in a cage built for mice and hamsters. The only guinea pig cage they had was a "starter" kit full of unnecessary items that cost $80. The only thing good we found there was a Pigloo and it was $7, but Walmart doesnt carry them so we took it. I had to stand at the register for a few minutes waiting on someone to check me out, when she finally arrived she was friendly. Didnt offer me a bag for my item but it wasnt a huge deal. Service didnt bother me that much but it wasnt what Id call "good". Just make sure you dont come here for advice on your small animal. The man my husband talked to didnt even seem to know what a guinea pig was. Back when they sold guinea pigs, I bought one there and they sexed it incorrectly. I had to pay a high vet bill to get the male (NOT FEMALE) guinea pig fixed a few weeks later so he didnt get my female pregnant.I dont think Id even trust the works with advice about dogs or cats. PetCo is great if you have a dog/cat. But if you have anything other than that, prepare to be disappointed. This store was so much better back when they sold small animals other than mice and the occasional hamster. What happened to the ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits...? Lame.

Ive had great luck at this store. The staff is overworked but trying hard. I dont understand the criticism of their bettas - every time Ive been there the bettas have been clean and healthy. The aquariums are also clean and the fish are as good as can be - considering their marine wholesaler sends them sick fish. The staff may not know everything, but they are always willing to learn. You do have to look for an employee, but that goes for EVERY retail store today. They have a very clean, well-stocked pet store, with a large selection of pet supplies and foods, and the employees are polite and courteous.

Wasted 2 hours of my day. Made an appointment for my dog to be groomed showed up on time only to be told that my appointment was not suppose to be at the time my appointment card said, left and called and spoke to the manager who stated they had a cancellation and to bring the dog back in. After leaving the dog they called 1 hr 40 min later satiating the could not safely shear the dog. Picked my dog up half shaven. Will never go back to the store again. Totally wasted almost 2 1/2 hous of my Saturday and I still have to get the dog groomed:(

I am so pleased with the groomers. I have a bichon with very sensitive ears and hairy ear canals. This is the first place that will groom his ear hair and make sure he doesnt shake his head to the point that he gets hematomas. I highly recommend them.

Betas are pretty much dead. Theyve been sitting in their own filth for months. Every tank has dead fish in it that have been there for weeks. Staff is aloof and rude. I feel sorry for the fish and aquatic life thats supposed to be cared for by Petco.

Weve sometimes had confusion with appointments so always call to confirm, but the dog trainer here is amazing! He has made all the difference for our puppy. Well worth the money. Our dog is onlt 5 months old and better behaved than most adult dogs.

Always a line and at least a ten minute checkout. About 50% of the time they dont have crickets. The store is clean, but the aisles need to be wider in some sections. Good parking. A greater selection of reptiles would be nice as well.

Over priced. Whatever it is Amazon has it for half the cost of this place. 70 bucks for 4 month supply of k9 advantix...I just ordered it for under 40 on amazon. Free shipping. Highway robbery. And complete BULLSHIT.

It was okay they carry wide variety pet products. I wouldnt shop on a regular basis here the products are usually too expensive for me. I do like the fact that they let you bring your pets in the store.

Their in store prices are often double the online prices and its often busy and hard to find someone to help you. Some items have good deals like the refillable cat litter.
