Bought a bearded dragon from here. With in 2 days it had diarrhea and had stopped eating. Took our beardie to the vet to find out it had 30-40 coccidia on each gram of stool plus Trichomonas. Trichomononas is a sexually transmitted disease!!! Please tell me how a lizard has it, and both are contagious to my family. I called petsmart to make them aware of the $123.00 vet bill I just spent on our beardie we just spent $54.99 for. Their only response was as long as it is within the 14 day window you can bring it back. Trade it for another one!!! Yeah like Im gonna trade it for another lizard I have to take to the vet!! The vet said it was so badly infected it had to have been before I got it. When I get a family member I get it for life! Just thankful its treatable, but when I asked the manager at petsmart what they were going to do about their other beardies ? Would they treat them? They told me people buy the pets as is if there is an health problem its your problem as the buyer!!!! I am so pissed because those dragons are sick, and this can and will kill them. They dont care. If you get one I took mine to health point in Duncan sc. let them know you got it at petsmart and wash your hands. These babies need saving. I know most people think stay away but if I had the money Id save everyone of them. And yes I feel like petsmart owes me my money back and me get to keep my baby!!! Sorry SOBs!!! Go to petco in hillcrest might be a little out of the way but services are a lot better

Went in tonight to get a fish, had already picked one out & our little girl had already named it even. Well the lady refused to sell it to us because we dont have a 20 gallon fish tank.. Ive never seen one goldfish in a 20 gallon tank. Heck my grandparents had one forever in a fish bowl!!! Even said I would go tomorrow & buy a bigger tank, but I wasnt going to buy it from theyre because theyre way over priced! & she still refused to sell. & what gets me, yes they have this huge tank, but theyre all separated into about maybe 5 gallons so if I have to have a 20 gallon fish tank for ONE, shouldnt they?? but thanks, we got us a very cute fish across the street at Wal-Mart & didnt see one dead fish, we saw several at your place & yall are the pet store, not Wal-Mart

I took my best friend Olive to their vet office on Christmas eve. it was early in the day. the girl said they could not see her. I begged her to just get someone to take a look at Olive. I am no vet, so I didnt know what to do. she refused and said they were very busy. I saw two customers there. I did find another vet to see her. gave her all kinds of meds. but she didnt make it. passed away Christmas night beside me in bed. maybe it was too late to save her, but they could have taken a look at her. if you are a dog person, you will understand me when I say......Im kind of lost now. this site made me choose one star, but I would have given them none.

One guy was not knowledgeable about the animals and could not answer most questions I asked. Or told me wrong things about the hamsters I bought .Very uneducated workers. Cashier seemed rude and always have a hard time trying to find help to get someone to get an animal out of the cage for me and they never have hermit crabs in stock. Management needs to work on educating their employees a whole lot on how to treat customers with courtesy. Because right now the Greenville store is top-notch right now on courtesy.and Greer too.

What an awesome place if you have a pet! I particularly love their dog training classes with Debbie! Weve taken her classes from puppy all the way to advanced, and its been a fantastic experience. She deserves a raise for all the hard work she does! Whether your dog needs grooming, treats, food, toys, clothes, or literally anything else, this store does it all! I highly recommend that you visit them and if you love your pet, then shop here often :) !

Cass was my dog Woodfords groomer today. She went the extra mile to make him look the best he has ever looked. We have been using PetSmart for his grooming care since we have had him. Probably the BEST Petsmart that I have ever visited. I love the staff. They are always super helpful and polite. The managers of this store work incredibly hard to make sure that all of the customers have the best experience possible. Lionel and Heather always go out of their way to make sure I find what I need at the best price!

I come here really often because we have many pets. Have also came with other friends, absolutely never had a problem with customer service, the store is well organized and labeled. Everything is easy to find! I had a problem with a price not ringing up right on an item once and they fixed it instantly without question!

Will not go back. Wanted fish,waiting 30 minutes to come help us. 4 people had already walked off, because no one would help. Finally the guy that was called was rude like he didnt want to be bothered. Wouldnt see us but 2 small fish saying we didnt have enough room in just a 10 gallon aquarium. Very rude!!!!

We get all our cats food from here. We have a 3 month old cat that is gray and a 4 year old Siamese snowshoe. We always get Royal Canin cat food from here. Thanks to the manager for suggesting the Royal Canin digestive help because our snowshoe is really picky. Awesome service will keep coming back.

Took my little pup Rusty to be groomed here and Jessica did a GREAT job! She took her time and did it exactly as I requested. I am very pleased with their professionalism... I will definitely be back again!! Thank you! (the prices were pretty reasonable as well, for all that was being done)

This is a pet store. Be prepared for barking dogs continuously barking dogs and youll be okay I wouldnt bring a cat in here though he probably wouldnt make it out. They all for all kind of services for your pets. If you like pets that is. Personally Id rather have a goldfish.

A wide variety of pet supplies and a friendly staff. I havent taken advantage of the veterinary or grooming services, but all the employees in the main store are polite and informative. They have a vast selection of pets and pet products, and prices seem reasonable.

The prices charged at checkout were different from the prices advertises on the shelves for ALL of the items I purchased. The total amount charged was $7+ over. The manager fixed the problem for me because I caught it, but other buyers should beware.

As another reviewer mentioned, the customer service mediocre at best. Its almost impossible to find somebody to help you, and the checkout is often backed up. If they would just add some staff and quit being cheap it would be a decent place.
