Absolutely awful experience yesterday. A woman working there, (dont know her name she was not wearing a name tag) was so extremely rude to me and my friend that we will never be back. This employee, when asked the price of a little puppy for sale, said she had to go over some things before she could give us the price. After sitting through a 10 minute speech on how much money was already put into the dogs vaccinations and vet checks, my friend again asks how much the dog costs. The woman says, "Im trying to tell you all this information because its included in the price of the dog if youd just listen." Very very rude. Then tells us the price, to which my friend says oh ok, well we arent buying today anyway Im just trying to get some ideas for my daughters birthday. The employee turns to tell another worker, "get that dog out of there, theyre not even here to buy anything." After rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing at every question we asked regarding the little pup, we decided our money wasnt going to this store anyway. Awful experience.. she was rude to other customers in front of us, too. Even calling a woman asking to see a dog and "idiot" under her breath.

We drove almost 2 hours to get 2 female guppies for my daughters 5th birthday. While we were there and standing at the tanks I specifically asked if the ones we were getting were females and was told YES. We get home and they fight with the male guppy we have, I look online for agression in guppies and while looking for that I find photos of guppy anatomy. I check several times and the girls at Petland in Russell, KY gave us 2 males guppies instead of the 2 females my daughter wanted. Manager says "bring the males back and we will give you the females". My daughter is 5...now attached to the males that we dont need and I didnt want and I have to be the mean mommy and take them back and get the females...not to mention driving almost 2 hours with gas prices like they are. Im very disappointed in this store and will not go back there again (and I was thinking of buying the little white doggy we saw there, too, but theres no way now). Unless you know yourself what you are looking for and need, then dont bother asking the workers...they have no clue what they are talking about.

We purchased a Jack Russell back in February. The lady who sold us the dog said he was very calm and Here it is June and this dog is an absolute nightmare. He is nothing close to calm. She told me that the chip tracking was included. I made sure to ask a second time and she told me again it was included in the price. I had to leave to another area because my baby was fussy. Later my husband told me he had to pay an extra $150 for the fee! What a liar she was! The lady selling us the dog was horrible. She was upset with another employee and was talking trash about her to us and cussing up a storm. The other lady kept trying to jump in front of her and make the sale. It was absolutely very unprofessional.

The prices that they charge for the puppies are ridiculous. They claim that they arent puppy mill puppies, but many of the puppies Ive seen dont have show quality characteristics and there is no way theyre worth what they are asking. Staff seems more worried about making commission than selling you the product you are asking about. Prices in general are markedly higher than most places, especially online places. Also watched the owner yell at employees in front of multiple customers and act like a complete idiot. Very unprofessional. Wont be returning.

My family and I went in with intentions of buying an animal and all the extras that went with it. One of the employees said to give him a minute, for us to go ahead and be picking out food/etc, and then he would be right with me. We went over and stood by the chameleons for probably half an hour, waiting; it took three other employees to get one lizard for somebody else, and not one of them asked us if we needed any help. I got so fed up with waiting that I told my family to come on... the store lost out on about $400.

This place is a joke! The way the owner treats his employees is awful, he talks to them like they are the lowest people on earth!! No wonder he cant keep anyone to work! You wont buy a dog from this place without clearing your entire checking account out! $1500 is ridiculous their is no way he paid that for those pups and half of them are almost a year old! Horrible place with a horrible owner. Would not reccomend!!!!.

We take our dogs here for all their nail trimming services. Our husky gets a little nervous, they calm her n get the job done. Price is better than our vet! Bring your pet to shop with you. They even serve a small treat for your "baby" at the friendly customer checkout lanes. Huge selection of toys n other products for dogs.

i called them and they actually hung up on me before i could ask any question so i called Berts across the street and they answered instantly and they even have turkeys also yes they answered my question thanks Pet land for being useless and not having turkeys

My wife and I bought a Chihuahua that was about 14 weeks. Now he is 8 months old and he looks nothing like a Chihuahua. We love him and would not trade him for nothing. However, we did not get what we paid for. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Hed have better merchandise in stock not stop good for parrot food and I dont believe in selling dogs and all that kind of stuff puppy mill dogs but like I said I think it needs to be upgraded a little bit

Its a great place for the kids. They can pet animals and play with the puppies. Also the employees are very nice to people who walk in and will try to answer any questions you may have.

My sister in-law once bought a puppy here at a outrageous price. When she brought it to the vet it was so sick she told her she needs to return the dog which she did.
