My wife and I went into this store at the UTC Mall in Sarasota, Florida on Tuesday Feb. 2, 2016 around 2:45 PM and noticed a bed they had on the floor that we liked. We talked to a sales rep briefly, a male, who was courteous. We left. We came back into the store (2/4/16) around 6:45 -7PM to look at the same bed again (the Addison upholstered with foot board). There was a sale tag on the bed that said it was $1,499.00. We spoke to a woman and expressed our interest in the bed. We asked her if that was the price because a price list of all the items (on the dresser) in that set were different. She indicated that she believed it was. Then indicated that she wasnt sure. Then said she thinks its $2,199. We told her that we liked the bed and were ready to buy it if were $1,499 but she couldnt answer. She invited us to talk to the assistant manager, another woman. The assistant manager had the personality of a turtle. She then went to ask the sales rep if she had shown us the floor displays in the back corner? What that meant, Im not sure because it wasnt the bed we were looking at. At the end of our meet, she took the price tag off the bed and said it wasnt correct then told us it was $2,199, and offered us 5% off which is meaningless. We were ready to buy it at the $1499.00 but didnt because the two women handled it so poorly & were such a turn off (it was primarily the assistant manager). Nonetheless, the two sales reps obviously had no interest in making a sale and as a business owner, I wouldnt want my business being represented in such a way. We were very disappointed in our visit, changing of the pricing, their attitudes, etc. We werent happy with the store or customer service to say the least. Very disappointing. UPDATE: we received an email from the manager the day after we emailed the company with our issue and she was pleasant, apologized, and offered the bed to us at the advertised price. I originally gave the store 2 stars but changed it to 4 after the manager did what I thought was the right thing.

Why doesnt this place answer the phone??? The best I can do is get a message stating that I can leave them a message which doesnt help because they never call me back. We recently bought two leather chairs and an ottoman (special order). OK, they chairs are lovely. The ottoman is lovely. BUT--- a few days after the ottoman was delivered --- my cleaning lady noticed that there was a break in one of the crossbars close to the floor. I never get down low and it cant be seen from eye level, but boy if you get down there, its totally obvious. I called and the concierge sent me an email with instructions to take pictures and send them in an email to the customer service address. I did this according to instructions. That was a week ago. I have heard nothing back from them. Now Im trying to call them, and they dont even answer the phone. Guess I"ll have to take a trip to the store where according to a previous post, they probably wont even care. Thus, the 2 star rating. Had to give them the two stars for the actual beauty of the products. No stars for service.

I was very concerned about purchasing furniture from Arhaus because of the reviews in particular the Sarasota Florida location. The young man that I mostly worked with helped change my mind, even though I had some issues with other employees thinking that someone was trying to take his sale - very unprofessional. I did purchase a very expensive leather sofa - it arrived and it is beautiful! However it is missing some clips that hold the cushions in place. I stopped by the store to talk to them about the sofa and basically they handed me a phone number and told me to call customer service. They really wanted nothing to do with the situation and brushed me off. When I spend that kind of money I expect them to go out of there way to help rectify the situation, not write a phone number down on a little piece of paper and hand it to me to deal with and blow me off. They need to learn about customer service from Ethan Allen. I will never purchase from Arhaus again. They lived up to there negative reviews.

My wife and I purchased a leather sectional that is drop-dead soft on the eyes at their store in University Mall, Sarasota. The cushions are stuffed with down and supported with metal braces and very strong wood. The sectional "embraces" your body as you sit. Yet, it is very supportive when exiting the furniture no matter your body size. The lounge chair is just that...lounging. Very inviting. The electric chairs that recline go only as far back/forward as you wish by using the buttons to adjust to your liking. Only one ding in the armour. The wonderfully inviting recliners have just one difficult item. Alas, the buttons are very difficult to find and get to with your fingers, I hate to note that because the rest is so breathtakingly beautiful, comfortable and easy to love.

Inexperienced sales person incorrectly stated we had to pay a 100% on a special order. When speaking to the manager she required only a 50% deposit and said they would credit back 50%. She processed it and somehow it was sent to the wrong place. Subsequently our delivery was delayed because their records showed we owed a balance due. Still waiting for delivery. Nice furniture but very poor service.

I do love the furniture...A lot! But your delivery service needs some work. The first piece of furniture I ordered took a month to be delivered, and this second piece took 3 weeks. The delivery company called me at 9:35pm to set a date/time to deliver. In my opinion thats just unacceptable. The time they gave me was on a Friday night between 6p-8p. Just not that impressive!

Found a nice dome glass, it was not marked with a price. The sales women, spent some time finding the price- 79 dollars- on sale. As they worked to check me out, more problems arose, the manager was called. After some discussion, the price rose to 99 dollars, in spite of the manager being told of the quoted price. Do not know what the issues were, but I wili not be back.

One star because at least the staffs are nice and the furniture are pretty. But their delivery service needs improvement. We ordered a bed and it took 2 months to come in. We should have learned our lesson. We went back and order more stuff $30,000.00 worth of stuff, back in april and its now September 19th still no sign of my furniture.
