We have tried to donate to this Goodwill and made every effort (after gathering up our donations) to get there before they closed for the day. We arrived within 10 minutes before they closed and the one employee in the store refused to take our donations because he wanted to leave early. On another occasion, before making a trip to the store we called to see if they carry any used mixed and matched dinner ware and the response was "youll have to come in and look." I asked if they could just tell me if they ever have anything like that in the store and was told, "I dont know, youll have to come in and look." Where I come from, we call that L-A-Z-Y. Well gladly give our donations and business to other more cooperative charitable organizations who serve better causes.

As far as goodwills go, Ive been to much better. Most of the good name brand clothes go to nearby consignment stores (I assume) If you are lucky enough to run into a name brand, the staff has meticulously marked it up from the standard price... Still better than platos closet prices, but annoying after youve had to search through racks for half an hour and find the pair of jeans you like is twice the normal price! Also the store is small and a little dingy- phoenixville is much nicer for clothes. I also think that the books and VHS tapes are ridiculously expensive for a goodwill. With that being said this is a pretty great place to buy furniture (good prices and selection)- If you can get there fast enough! In my experience the staff has been pretty friendly.

This is the first time I have read reviews for this store. I am shocked that there are some negative reviews sprinkled in with the positive ones. As far as prices go, they are terrific! Yes, of course, some of the higher end clothing is higher, but they should be! We are talking the difference of a couple dollars!! I find Talbot clothing there frequently. They might charge $4.25 to $6.25, but the original garment would have cost over $60 new. As far as the employees go, they have always been kind and helpful. I love this store and by shopping there you help those less fortunate.

The best part about the Good Will is going in and looking around. I have found treasures there that I didnt know I was looking for! Its pointless to call and ask if they have "used mixed and matched dinner ware". Of course they do! And, yes, you do "have to come in and look." After all, One mans junk is another mans treasure." The Good Will is a great charitable organization. Their staff works hard to sort through, organize, and price our donations. Its a weekly destination for this shopper.

From a donors point of view this Goodwill is too hard to deal with. Theres a middle-aged man who accepts the donations often and he likes to make up rules about what they will accept. Ive had him turn down a Spanish-English dictionary and a 2year old Ripleys Believe It Or Not book because they dont accept reference books. I just consign my stuff now rather than packing up the car and being told they wont accept certain items by this rogue worker.

This goodwill is much smaller than others but for some reason they have tons of good stuff in the misses department. Ive gotten some really good name brand and designer things. The kids section its much smaller than the other goodwills in the area. I come here for me and go to thorndale for my kids. I havent had any issues dropping off here and Ive probably dropped off here around 20 times.

As a shoe lover, they have some awesome collection of good quality shoes, name brand or not. However, their clothing offering was all over the place, which made it difficult to find anything. They should reorganize their clothes by size not color.

Was better until they raised the prices to match eBay. Now they just charge too much for anything quality. The staff are pretty rude as well.
