I dropped by looking for a tether with my father for our Border Collie/ Husky mix. We went to the grooming center to see if we could get his nails clipped. The women in the back claimed they had no open appointments for the day. I suspected they were just being lazy as there was only 2 dogs in there and about 4 groomers. They looked at our dog and said no. So I decided to call and ask if there were any open appointments; low and behold there were indeed open appointments. I will never return. Utterly lazy. I will also be writing to officials higher up in PetSmart administration as I am certain their store manager will likely be chalk full of excuses yet no disciplinary action will be taken.

Dog Owners, spare your dog the embarrassment of a PetSmart grooming! I took my long haired English Mastiff here to get groomed for the summer and he came out looking like a sheep just stripped of its coat with the hair left on his head, legs and tail. I will never take him here again! Im absolutely embarrassed for my dog. Even the cashiers and the store manager who came to settle the situation were commenting at the horrendous job done on my dog by their grooming co-workers. The manager without hesitation paid me back the $100 I had just spent to pick up my dog and apologized up and down. Better off going somewhere that ONLY does grooming that has references!

I saw some of the negative reviews on here about the grooming, but I had a wonderful experience when I recently brought in my Labradoodle. Even though he can be on the hyper side, Linda did a great job with cleaning him up. I explained what I needed for my dog, and she was very accommodating. She was so patient and knowledgeable. When I peeked at the window, she was smiling and talking to him, and his tail was wagging away. It didnt take long at all. I will definitely bring my dog back to Linda at Petsmart in Pottstown to be groomed.

I took my puppy cut Briard to this location to be groomed, and was very specific as to what we were asking for. They shaved her bald. She has razor burn on her butt, ears, and neck. Her toes were cut and bleeding. I asked for a size 5 overall body cut and they had to have done a smaller size. She is bald. They charged me $98 to shave my poor beautiful briard. She is a hot mess. Thanks for nothing... It will take months to grow back. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Spare your dog the embarrassment....

THEY STOPED GROOMING CATS AFTER 8 YEARS. NO WARNINGS!! THEY SAID BOTH HELPER (NOT THE GROOMERS) BECAME ALLERIC TO CATS AT THE SAME TIME!! I REALLY FIND THIS HARD TO BELIEVE. MAYBE THE WAY TO HANDLE THIS WOULD BE TO HIRE 2 HELPERS AND FIND A NEW POSITION FOR THE OLD HANDLERS. I WOULD RESPECT THEM MORE IF THEY WOULD TELL ME THE TRUTH. I AM SURE THEY MAKE MORE MONEY GRPOMIMG DOGS.

Ive been getting my three dogs groomed here for several years. They always do a great job and have the pets ready when they say they will. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful.
