I will start off by saying that I love Shinola design language and quality of goods. I will also start off by saying that I believe just about everything Shinola makes is about 2x the price it should be. Enter the Shinola Outlet. First off, it has the same atmosphere and general layout as the the mid-town flagship store does. Next, the prices are better than I thought they would be. Generally speaking, goods were about 30-50% off of retail. So, really, when I looked at watches that were as low as $200 I thought "Finally! Reasonable prices!" I bought my mom a nice watch as a mothers day gift and started looking for stuff for myself. My friend had to drag me out of the store because I was ready to buy just about everything. I will say that the staff seemed to wear plain clothes, so I actually had no idea who worked there or not, but they were very friendly and knowledgeable. With friendly staff, great atmosphere and great prices, in my mind, this is THE Shinola store to come to.

Love that it is Detroit based, but unimpressed with handling of my return. Purchased purse with no magnetic closure which is now approriately made with magnetic closure. Some of staff uninformed of new improvement and would not do even exchange. Wanted extra 100 dollars. Who pays full price at "outlet mall"

Prices at this outlet are considerably less than at the retail outlets. Didnt have the exact watch I was looking for, but next time could be the time I get my 2nd watch.
