The teenage staff-members are more professional and friendly than the adults. The layout of foodstuffs reminds me of dealing with lazy ass supply seargents in the Army: nothing is where youd think itd be and when you do find a certain product you have to travel across the store to get things that are common accouterments. Peanut butter, no Jelly. Ham no burger. And the so-called management are nothing but a bunch of profiling, conceited 30k Millionaires.

Its been 4 years since we last visited the area on vacation, and I have to say the supermarkets improved greatly since. Lowes must have undergone a recent renovation because it was really nice. Especially the deli. A HUGE step up from 4 years ago where Oscar Meyer was the best you could hope for in deli meat. Funniest thing is drink-while-you-shop. They actually offer alcoholic drinks to enjoy while you shop. (Not free.) Never saw that before anywhere.

I came into the deli area after 9 p.m. Knowing that it was probably closed, but I asked house early in the morning would somebody be there to actually cut meat and cheese and nobody knew the exact time as three separate people got three different approximate answers I would advise for a better experience to have management that everybody know what the hours of operation are or at least have them posted that they could be referred to

Lowes Foods has done a lot to improve itself in Monkey Junction. The fresh deli, bakery, and meats are all a big improvement, and the overall quality of fresh produce has gone up as well. Get the fresh baked butter cookies to make your night extra spectacular!

They have a growler filling station and you can get a tap beer to walk around and shop with. They have a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. This particular store underwent a renovation and it is pretty upscale now and the prices reflect that.

This is my go to spot when we vacation down here. They have a great selection of fresh sausages and meats. The produce section is pretty decent, they have a lot of good beers, and you can get your growler filled here.

Its always clean. They offer a variety of fresh salads, wine and beer, fresh flowers. The hot bar and the salad bar is always banging. The staff is friendly and its a convenient stop while enroute to the beach!

Good source for local stuff, look here or veggie wagon, charming interior, be a smart shopper get stuff here if its on sale but price wise hit up Aldis for basics. They do get good deals just look for them
