I cannot say for certain if the salespeople were lying directly to my face or if they were just ignorant, but they told me the tank I had would be big enough for a Water Dragon (not even close; even for a baby), They told me I had to have UVB lighting for my Ball Python or it would die within a few weeks (completely false, they do not need lighting of any kind so long as it is warm enough. They recommended the stick on thermometers which I have since found out are inaccurate and not recommended by any snake owner. I did not just hop on Wikipedia or Google and look this up I actually talked to many owners of each and read up on each animal extensively and took notes from around ten sources each. All of them matched closely to each other, but nowhere near what the people at PetSmart told me. They were very nice and polite, but They either lied to me or were ignorant and gave me false information. No information would have been much much better and I would have spend around $200 less on crap I do not need!

I recently purchased a betta fish tank for my daughter. As I was putting the tank together I noticed that the filter tube was missing so I called the store. The young lady on the other end only said that it should not be a problem because the water will still be pulled in and filtered through. I understand how a fish tank works Ive had many, but when I make a purchase I expect everything to be in the kit that is suppose to be there. Now I get that she didnt put the kit together but at least try and do something to make it right.

We took our dog this evening to be groomed, bathed and get a nail trim. Upon picking her up, we were barely greeted and it took awhile for the two staff members in the back to bring her to us. We were told they did not cut her nails because she was freaking out and she didnt want to stay on the table. When we told the staff the main reason we came was so she could get her nails trimmed, they looked at us dumbfounded. We were still charged full price even though they did not complete all services. We will not be returning.

i spayed my jack russell terrier with one of the vet there... however they did not do a through job.... around 8 months or so... my dog is in heat... and im living in south america for half a year with my dog... so its not like i can take her back to that abhorrent place and file a complaint. i just want to inform you that if you dont want you dog to have a messed up surgery... dont take your place to that stupid petsmart bandfield at okemos michigan...

So I was "that guy" that unknowingly walked into the store 5 minutes before close. The cashier(male with brown hair) was super kind and I apologized profusely while he held the door open for me because it was locked by the time I checked out it was a few minutes after close. I am just amazed at the costumer service I received even while I was being that guy whom all retail workers despise. Thank you so much PetSmart workers!

Good selection and service. Not a lot of pet stores carry the brand of litter I use (Scoop Away) in the bulk size that I need, but I know I can always rely on PetSmart. They also had a few birds and lots of fish when I visited, which was nice. Finally, they host events for families and kids, which is really awesome and something to look into!

If you return an item it is thrown out regardless of use. Many items should be donated. Isles smell of urine. If you want to work here, you may be scheduled out at 2am. Back in at 4am. 3 hours a week of work is not uncommon. Be thick skinned, you can and will be blamed for others mess ups.

If you are a per owner, you need to go here. Nice store that "has it all" for the pet owner. You can even buy a pet there! Nice, clean store with a lot of variety of food, pet toys and essentials. Go in just to browse!

I spent $150 to have my two dogs groomed and when they came out they were covered in loose fur. Ive posted a picture for reference. I would definitely recommend using a different groomer if you want the job done right.

Took our dog to get his nails done. Came home and realized one whole paw was not clipped at all. How do you miss a whole paw of nails? Pretty annoyed. And then our other dog was given back to us still damp. OVER IT

They have everything you need for your pet. Staff did not take our inquiry about adopting a cat seriously. We would have taken one home, but two different employees tried to talk us out of petting them.

Friendly staff, competitive selection. Pet food is cheaper at the grocery store, but PS has better toys. Google Reviews asked me if they have food here -- sure, pet food! No people snacks, though.

The employees have no animal care knowledge for the live animals they sell. Over priced. Sell cheap crap. Too corporate! I hate this store! Never going to another petsmart, ever.

Good plc to shop for pets, have grooming, a vet, and training classes inside. Dont carry some of the pet food brands I use, but right near a bus route and convenient location

Petsmart has awesome prices on most of the items they carry. The staff has been pretty helpful too..havent had a bad experience yet!

The grooming was very bad, they took 4 hours instead of 3 and my dogs hair was not egalized everywhere. I do not recommend at all
