To MR. BILL. Since no one wrote me back early this year I would like to take time out of my busy work week to share about my recent visit to Bass pro in Garland. I have been shopping for a new boat for about 3 months. I came in March 20th 2016 and was received by an employee with the name of Carroll. I had a few questions about the different boat packages , motor and products. He seemed to be in a bad mood and responded rudely to every question I had . I came in looking specifically for a Tracker grizzly 1754 to which I pulled product information to ensure I was asking about the correct boat. He rapidly said I sold the boat last "Friday " its not available. I asked if he could look if another store near by had one in stock. He answered again as if I was being a nuisance that Fort Worth had one and that they could not get that boat to this store , and that I should drive out there and do all of my business there. I politely said thank you gather my things and left. I felt turned away . I called the very next day and asked to be transferred over to the boat department. I spoke to Scott , I said "Iam interested in a boat you show to have in stock" . I promptly gave Scott (the Same information) and he quickly pulled up the information and told me the boat was there and available . I said ok maybe Carroll was having a bad day , were probably short handed that day or sick ect. I spoke to Scott about the bad service I received he said he would make a comment to Denise the manager. They would hold the boat for me. , shared my story about the whole bad experience I had in the beginning and up to now, To Denise . Be back at 1pm well have everything ready we will "Blow you away " and take good care of you .Iam on 7/6 visit at this point , Im finally done with my purchase . Different guy loads the boat tells me that everything is ready . I take off and make it home I realize that not only did they not give me the rest of my purchases they forgot my battery , battery box and Trolling motor. This was very frustrating that I drove home in traffic and yet again something was wrong. I immediately call heather told her I would be coming back to pick up my stuff that was never given to me. at this point i am making another drive up to the store again. I come in head directly down stairs . Every one is gone home for the day except for Jeff . I speak to him and he says Jose please tell me they got everything right . I said they did not Iam here to pick up my stuff . Ive called heather and made arrangements for me to pick them up. We go to the back we find what seems to be my stuff labeled with my name. I said ok Ill take my things and go even Though my experience was bad and I wished to share with some one else. As soon as I think Iam ok to go they tell me the battery I was sold is under tracker and that they keep their batteries inside and locked and that no one there has keys to . So now Iam driving home really frustrated empty handed because now I must return again when they are open to pick up my things up yet again . I wish that this matter would have been settled immediately as everything that transpired has caused a great deal of stress and hassle on my part. I dont know if I should be happy or upset about my purchase. Or yet to continue business with this company. I work for discount tire and see hundreds of customers a week , we strive for great customer service with integrity. I talk very good about you guys and have referred plenty of people when the topic arises to where i shop for my fishing equipment to other customers of mine. Looking back at this and its sad no one got back to me and its now October 18th , 2016

This place is beyond horrible. I never had A+ experience I bought several large items including a gun safe but store is poorly managed. I recently went in to buy a firearm and while they have a number system to help customers they regularly dont use it. Each time I took a number and watched as they helped other customers without advancing number being helped as well as picking in the people who they preferred. I filed a complaint days ago and was contacted by Ryan who claimed to be manager. He said come back give a second chance and sounded nice. I did not ask for discount and he did not offer. He did say if you experience the problem again ask for me. So I returned a day after the call wearing my back the blue sweater proudly. I stood there in store with my number for 40 minutes without being said a word too and waved off and passed. Each time someone would finish with a customer number did not advance I was 41 and it was 35 for for over 40 minutes. I calmly asked if I could speak to Ryan. I was told by the employee he didnt have a walkee but would radio have someone radio him. He told one gentlemen that guy in the blue sweater wants to speak to management and then that guy disappeared. 10 minutes later I called th store and ask for them to send Ryan over this time I heard it directly come over speaker. 10 minutes later no one shows. A employee becomes free while I am standing there and another guy randomly comes up and he waves me off to start servicing the guy with no number. I become upset and ask to speak to Ryans manager. I am told it id Richard. Then the guy who was originally told I want d to speak to a manger walking around price checking stuff comes over and says he is the MOD for hunting. I say I want to speak to MOD for store. After serving in Iraq and years in miliatary and in a major corporation in Silicon Valley I learn to read people and he was anything but polite. After a few minutes of back and forth I decided this was going nowhere and should not purchase anything from this store. I left and was very upset immediately called complaint line and was met with same rude behavior. While I remained calm throughout the entire ordeal it was a nightmare. I would not recommend this store to anyone especially those who serve and protect our cities and our nation.

A consistent let-down. Growing up - I was fascinated at the selection available through the mail catalog and the prices were always great. SO - When they opened up this location, I expected it to be my favorite local hangout. HOWEVER - as I have always made this place a stop for shopping - I come to realize that as of all my store visits - I never purchase anything as I realized it is MUCH CHEAPER through Amazon. My last visit (I am DONE with shopping here) was to see if they had any red-dot magnifiers and discovered a Vortex that was priced at $229.00. I decided to buy it if they would honor a price matching discount for what I knew of another on-line outlet (Amazon) where it was available DIRECT from AMAZON at $169.00. The Gun Salesmen (whom are never friendly to me, have never let me test fire a handgun when I was shopping for a single action Semi (and went elsewhere to buy it) nor act in a manner conducive to sales and customer retention) - told me that they do not price match. PERIOD. The manner and dismissiveness was overwhelming and rather than challenge him, I decided to call Bass Pro Main Number and see if that is accurate. The fact is - they do price match - but not with every online competitor (such as Amazon or Cheaper Than Dirt). Regardless - I took the final hint from the Salesman. Not knowing what specific personal issue that gun salesman had against me or why it is consistent - I have no idea. All I do know is, I am done dropping by for the sake of shopping for deals and consistently being disappointed. Definitely no props from me. Gander Mountain a few miles further down the road. B&S Guns at least has professionals that will let you examine a fire-arm so that you know every detail before you shoot.
