Been renting bikes & and looking for motorcycle gear all over the world. Scuderia West has the best selection and best service Ive seen. Louis Motorrad in Munich, Germany comes close in passion and level of attention I received from the guys at Scuderia West. I bought a Schuberth S1 helmet at Loius - very nice, quiet, light weight, thank you Mani if you are reading this. Well, after carefully reviewing the fit and function of the S1 at the Scuderia I found out that the fit was a bit off, not much, but off. Still good for more relaxed riding, yet I ended up buying a NEXX XR1R helmet. Scuderia helped me become more knowledgeable about helmets. They took their time, no cutting corners on carefully understanding my needs. Will go back there for my motorcycles, gear, advice and just to feel good being around passionate staff. Its rare these days, Scuderia West has it.
Such a disappointment working with Scuderia shop. I purchased two bikes from them paid in full and brand new. Once the sale was done I was not able to get follow up guidance or much consideration of the disappointing staff at Scuderia. It didnt matter if I spoke to the sales department, the service department or the parts department the response was snotty and unhelpful like some Prima donna. It really screws you up when you buy an Italian import but then cannot obtain the service required on the purchase since they have a sort of monopoly in the region. What a mistake. I suggest caution if you go to this business for any need related to a motorbike.
At the moment, I work at a BMW motorcycle dealership. I can get BMW stuff at a serious discount, and still choose to come here for the gear they offer. Thats not to say BMW gear is bad, just that sometimes I prefer a different style of gear sometimes. Recently I had a pair of Rev-it gloves start to fall apart pretty quickly after buying them from Scuderia, and I brought them back. No questions asked, Sam (the apparel guy) replaced them for me. Thats proper customer service and why they will continue to get return customers. Shop here and stay the hell away from Cycle Gear and their cheap apparel!
After trying several motorcycle clothing stores around the city, Scuderia gets my vote. The layout is great and mercifully the staff didnt continually harass me after I hinted I was happy trying stuff on my own. Theres clearly a good working relationship among the team which creates a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The selection of gear is excellent so I had no trouble finding what I was looking for and questions were swiftly answered. Scuderia deserved my hard-earned cash, and will no doubt get more in the future.

I took my motorcycle to scuderia for starting and clutch issues. Actually the clutch lever was under adjustment so the engine stops after I engaged the gear. The issues were not fixed and I was charged $93 I had the same issue after I serviced it at Scuderia. I called the Service manager and she acted irresponsible, unprofessional and offered no help. I recommend if you value your time , money, dignity and your motorcycle, never go to Scuderia. Thank you, An Unvalued Customer
If you need motorcycle/scooter gear, this is the place to do it. I was looking for some advice on a jacket and helmet and was fortunate enough to be helped by Leo. This guy really knew his stuff, and clearly wasnt trying to up sell me for commission. He went into great detail about what the different styles prevent against and what kind of fundamental protection any rider should have on the road. The store itself is very clean and has a beautiful array of bikes to admire.
Great family owned shop - the employees even joke around like they are related. The entire staff treats you like family too. They have the best selection of motorcycle clothing in the city. If you are looking for gloves, make sure Brian helps you out. Hes the best at finding the perfect set for you. If you need work done, ask Niles to wrench on your bike. He can work on anything from vintage to new. Tip: Check out their open houses for great deals.
I brought my scooter to replace front tire and tube. Ok, they charge 76$ for half an hour labor plus materials. I was ok with that. When I came back they made another job for another half an hour pay plus material which i didnt ask for and which wasnt an emergency replacement. They even didnt call me an ask about do I need it at all or not. Not cool for a such high rated service shop. Not coming back for sure.
Trevor Martin and Kennedy took great care of me. I live in LA and was actually in town just for the weekend and decided to buy my bike and gear from them rather then my local dealer. They were extremely knowledgeable and took great care of me. Even helped get my bike back to LA with all my new gear. Every department was every accommodating getting my new bike set up. To bad I dont have Scuderia West in LA.
I bought a new Vespa at Scuderia last month. Pete made the experience fun and easy. He is also extremely knowledgable and entertaining. He should start a Vespa talk show. He knows the product inside and out. Scuderia also provides good service. I had a minor issue after buying my Vespa but they took my scooter in and fixed it in three minutes.
Awesome selection of bikes and gear. Leo was very knowledgeable and directed me towards the right scooter gear (Im a total newbie). Here you can find everything for your needs including helmets, protective clothing, locks, and so much more. My boyfriend and I are ready to hit the streets after some awesome advice. This is the best moto store in SF!

These guys rock and have become like family. One guy rated service as crappy, but mentioned hed spoken with a female service manager and was treated unfairly - good news for you, shes gone, buddy! They do a great job in the shop and the merchandise guys know everything about their gear and are always there to help you out. Theyre the shiznat!
Im a new rider and I bought all my gear from SW. Really happy about it. They gave me a discount after finishing safety classes, and provided A LOT of help. Shout out to Brian, man from the staff, who gave an amazing lecture on different helmets and helped with getting a jacket. These guys are awesome!
Fast and friendly service. Paul and Pete assisted with my purchase. Invited me also to join them on monthly ride excursions. I am learning to ride today.
Great guys and good honest service. Never felt pressured to buy and staff was always open to showing you great products
