With some free time to spend in San Francisco during a work assignment, I decided to rent a scooter (a Yamaha Vino 125) for two days to see in and around the city. A few days before my free time, I made a reservation through their website. Just a few hours after making the reservation, I got a phone call from them. Regrettably they had to inform me that there was only a scooter available on the second day. However, because of their proactive service of letting me know in advance with a friendly and polite phone call, I didnt feel too bad about having a scooter for only 1 day. When I first arrived at their shop, I was greeted by friendly and skilled personnel. After going through the necessary paperwork, my Vino for the day was instantly available. A solid chain lock and a good fitting helmet were automatically included in the package, and Dubbelju could even provide me with a street map if I needed one. The scooter itself was truly in an excellent driving condition, and I had no problem at all getting up and down the sometimes steep roads of San Francisco. Returning the bike at the end of the day was a very smooth procedure as well. To summarize, Dubbelju facilitated me on this beautiful spring day with the best I could possibly imagine for exploring this great city. I can recommend Dubbelju to everyone!

Renting from DubbelJu was an absolutely perfect experience!! Staff was super responsive and easy to work with. The bike was in exceptional shape, and was exactly what I had reserved (1200GS with lowered seat), which was critical to a successful trip for me. There was no BS or gimmicks in dealing with DubbelJu. They were straight up, honest and totally awesome. Huge shout out to Bobby- who helped me plot the perfect route to get exactly what I wanted out of the trip. My plan was to ride north up the coast for 2-3 days on CA-1, then then head back east to visit some family in Winters, CA, then circle back to SF. He plotted a great route from SF to CA-1, and then some exceptional roads east through wine country to winters, and then even more perfect roads from Winters back to SF. He took at least an hour out of his day to plot out this route for me, and literally every recommendation he made was flawless. Dude knows his stuff, so if he gives you a tip, LISTEN! All in all, it was a great experience, and I will return (hopefully soon) to rent again. DubbelJu made possible what was perhaps the best trip Ive ever taken.

[Best purchase experience Ive ever had] Ive never rented from Dubbelju, but Ive recently purchased one of their rental bikes. Generally, purchasing from a rental place may not be a good idea, but after researching how well they maintain their bikes and how well they treat their customers, I thought Id be getting the best deal. It ended up being the best purchase experience Ive ever had. I was planning to pick it up and ride it across the country into my home-state. Theyve patiently waited for 2-3 weeks for me to pick it up, while helping me purchase and install various add-ons for the bike (saddlebags, etc). Once Ive arrived, theyve helped me with all the paperwork, assisted with gear, reminded about the tire-repair kit, and most importantly highlighted amazing bike routes for my trip back. Now back and almost 3k miles under my butt, I still dont know how to check the oil or anything -- it just runs and the ride back was amazing.

Made an impromptu reservation late on Friday for a Saturday rental, with the bike all set for 10am the next day. Id planned to go down Highway 1 and circle back via La Honda, but Bobby and Lauras local knowledge - and the unseasonably beautiful weather for the time of year - gave me an alternate and longer route down to Santa Cruz and back to the city via the Big Basin Redwood State Park, marked with a few hand-picked stop off points on the way. The enthusiasm and excitement of the crew there is infectious, and the bike itself - a BMW C650GT - was well maintained and a total pleasure to ride. Overall, I cant recommend the experience highly enough; with the personalised advice from the staff taking things absolutely above and beyond any other motorcycle rental experience Ive had before.

Was in town for a conference and decided to extend the stay for additional day. After reading all the reviews it was no brainer and booked motorcycle with Laure. Arrived at the time of the rental and Mr. Doubleju himself helped me with a quick process. They even switched the motorcycle to accommodate my integrated GPS (R1200GS). Mr. Doubleju ask me of my plan and help me to adjust it so I can make the most of my day and see the best the area have to offer. Will come next year with my wife to rent again, this time for longtime. Returning process was extremely quick and pleasant. I was also asked if i need help to get transportation to my destination. I rented a R1200GSW for eleven days for a trip from California through Utah to Arizona and back for 2700 miles! Great trip. The bike was flawless and I could do anything I wanted. This is the second time I have rented from Dubbleju. The last time was an RT1200. Each time it has been easy. I made the reservation on the website and then got a call confirming the dates, bike, and cost. I show up and the bike is prepped and ready for me to load. A quick review of the paperwork, ask questions about the bike, store my suitcase and I am off. Too easy. The staff is laid back and willing to help you out with suggestions if you want. I recommend them and will rent again.

Renting from Dubbelju was a great experience. The employees were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly; they have an excellent selection of motorcycles; the reservation procedure was straightforward; the motorcycle I rented was exactly as described, clean, and well maintained (as were all of the others that I saw in their shop;) picking up and dropping off the bike was quick and painless; and there were NO hidden charges, extra expenses, or surprises of any kind. I will definitely rent from them again and I would recommend them to others without reservation. What more could you ask for?

Laura gave us a really quick rental process and provided a pretty good luggage storage service. Bobby was so fun and best at giving awesome local knowledge and route suggestions. I rented a Ducati Monster 696 and took a 3-day tour riding with my wife as the passenger through Yosemite, South Lake Tahoe, and then back to Dubbleju. We had an awesome trip and enjoyed every second on the bike, which was in good condition the whole time even with the great deal of mileage. I would definitely come back sometime!

The sum: great selection of bikes and great customer service! I was in town for the weekend and wanted to rent a bike to cruise the city and the north shore. Doubleju hooked me up with an awesome Harley 883 for the day. The rental process was fairly seamless with only a few discrepancies between wheat I read carefully on their site and what was explained at rental time. Other than that the experience was great. They are also centrally located in the city, making it easy for visitors to rent.

Shipped my bike from Denver to San Francisco using Federal Motorcycle Transport. Dubbelju was recommended from 3 separate companies, as being the best place to receive my bike and store it till I could pick it up.
