I have had an absolutely horrible experience with ordering online with Petco. I placed my order on 09/10/15 and choose expedited shipping in order to receive my order on 09/15/15. When I did not receive my order on Tuesday I called, at that time they say they would take of the $10.99 for expedited shipping, but would only be able to do so once I receive the order, call them back, and give them the tracking number on the package. At that time, I was frustrated, but let it go. However when I still had not received my package on 09/22/15 I called again. The representative told me he would have to look into my order and call me back. Later that evening I received an email advising that the product I order was on back order. Why I was not advised of this at the time I placed my order or either of the two times I called baffles me. Not only did they not call me like they said they would they did not offer any sort of remedy for the situation. I should not have to wait a week after I was supposed to RECEIVE my order to then be sent an email saying it is on back order. I will NEVER order from Petco again, and I will make sure to file a complaint as well as write an unhappy review. This is horrible customer service.

My mother went into the store and was accused of check fraud simply because the machine wouldnt process her check for some reason. She has gone to this same store each month for 6 years now to buy specialized cat food and litter for her cats and spends a few hundred each month. There was absolutely no reason the check shouldnt have processed. The manager even said the check system is old and they have been having some trouble with the older systems and are trying to get new register systems this November. Just embarrassing treatment by the management and my mom is just mortified from the experience. From my own past experience, I can say this is on par for their customer service. Just crude really. I stopped being a customer there long ago.

This place is horrible.. Every time I go there nobody asks me if I need help, not to mention when I go there I always find malnourished animals, or dead animals. My friend even got a blind hamster there. Ive been to other PetCos and none of them are as bad as this one. A lot of people I have talked to there, even just as customers, say they dislike it and often call it a kill-shelter. I know quite a few employees there as well and most of them are quitting due to their managers not caring about the animals. The employees have talked about how nobody knows how to properly care for the animals and thus quit. I truly wish someone else had this experience I did..

This specific store is filled with money hungry people, Danielle the manager told me I could exchange a bulb that she sold me broke, it shattered all over my car and said that shell exchange it for a different brand then when I get there she still wanted to charge me the upcharge fee. Really??? Come on now I came in the same day a hour later to replace it and your going to play that game? Scam artists is what they should put on there name tag instead of manager.

Completely awful experience. An employee had an attitude and proceeded to yell at us. Then when we asked for a manager proceeded to yell and told the manger that we needed to be dealt with. The whole issue came up because online it said it was puppy adoption day and they had no puppies. We just wanted someone to know so they could take down the misinformation. The employee proceeded to tell us it wasnt there problem while yelling.

Bought fish here, they all had ick, also bought live plants here was told they were snail free that was a lie. My tank got filled with hundreds of snails and all 6 fish died. The ick treatment provided by this place did nothing. Now when I got to this place I see sickly aquariums and dying fish everytime. Does anyone there actually care for the fish? So sad.

The guy in aquatics is very helpful. I was there picking out additional fish for my tank, he confirmed everything I had read up on. The fish are doing great. It is nice when you deal with someone who knows rather than just a random kid scooping of fish who has no idea if theyre going to be the next meal when they end up in the tank.

Great selection and service. I frequently visit with my teenagers and the staff is always helpful. They always have what were looking for at competitive prices. I believe the review posted here in reference to online ordering is unfair and should be removed, as it has nothing to do with this store location.

Not the best selection of toys and wet food for cats. The prices are bit more than Im used to. They are also understaffed and the register froze up while I was checking out, which backed up the whole store.

Excellent. Aquatics department is the most helpful one i can find. There is one man whos always in there, and he really knows what hes talking about. I go back all the time, and ill definetely be back again.

Went to petco for a nail trimming. My Australian Shepard was a chore being tense and deffacating on the floor. But they managed to ease her worries and get a much need nail trim.
