I started purchasing used vehicles there in March 2012 after buying two previous used cars from two other locations in 2010 and 2011. In both instances I experienced surprise issues with the vehicle and little know customer service after the sale. To start I have a very simplistic view of great customer service. Treat me well during the sale, tell me the truth, and dont forget me after the sale. While I think this should be easy, I have routinely been treated well during the sale, not always told everything up front and then just totally ignored after they got my monies. In 2012 I purchased my first used car from Fox Honda. As usual I was treated well during the sale but then to my surprise the sales rep was honest and for the first time I was not ignored after I paid for the car. The salesman was Jeremy Sliter. In 2013 I needed another used car for my oldest son. Because of how I was treated the first time I immediately gave Jeremy a call. To be honest I was looking at other less expensive vehicles, yet Jeremy gave me all the facts and worked with me including making sure the car was safe. and I purchased my second vehicle from Fox Honda. In 2014 I needed another vehicle for my youngest son. Even though I was told by others not to I looked at a Saab Jeremy had found. He told me all the issues upfront prior to the sale and even worked with service on making the needed repairs affordable prior to the sale. There were no surprises, I knew what was wrong up front and today my son loves the car. I also want to acknowledge that the Saab mechanic Jeff was great and acted as if the car was for his own son. Obviously sale number 3. In 2015 I needed another vehicle, this time for my wife. Again Jeremy found a vehicle, worked with me on pricing, and let me know of any known issues up front. My wife loves the car-I cant get her to let anyone else drive it. In summary, I have purchased 4 vehicles in less than 3 years at Fox Honda and it is all due to the great customer service. I finally found a place that meets my simplistic definition of great customer service. I plan to continue to buy my vehicles from Fox Honda in the future.

We have walked away from many dealers in town over our 30 years of buying consumer level vehicles but purchasing our like new 2013 Honda Odyssey was a blast with Fox! Ben Buurma is a straight shooter that takes care of business the way you want! At least the way I wanted. Energetic and no games. From my first phone call, each interaction and our visit to test drive was wonderful. I kept expecting the zinger to ruin my trust but it never happen. It was so nice to finally work with a team of professionals that did their jobs so well and appreciated our time and business. Ben was 100% committed to helping us find what we really wanted, without a upsell. He also providing expert input on any details. The finance manager is superb too, sorry I forgot his name however there isnt a revolving door there so most likely if you read this and go in youll have the same great people serving you. They live the Fox mission and values! What started as a standard business transaction ended with a new friend and great van that will be a huge benefit to our family for many years to come.Thank you all who contribute at Fox because I know there are many people that work behind the scenes and you do a excellent job!

I swear by this dealership - moved out of Grand Rapids years ago after getting a job in Indiana and I STILL drove 3+ hours to get my car maintenance done here. Currently live in Illinois and I come to this facility only. Three reasons why I do: 1) Service - dont think Ive ever had an occasion where I left Fox Honda feeling my car was serviced improperly or felt cheated on the pricing. Clear layout of pricing, willingness to correct mistakes, communicating with customers.. (and the list goes on). 2) Relationship - This establishment is built on trust. I entrust my car (and my familys cars) to this group because I know they are in it for the long run (service-oriented, first-name basis, casual conversation). 3) Attitude - positive atmosphere. Everyone will treat you like a friend and will almost (always) be willing to help with whatever problems you have. Just keep it car related. I miss Grand Rapids sometimes because of the local, family-like atmosphere of many businesses. I can personally attest that Fox Honda is a quality GR business that is always open to engage in long-term relationships founded on mutual respect.

Recently purchased a used car from here. The only complaint I could have at all about the whole process was that they did not have pictures posted of the vehicle online and I had to come in to actually see it, but thats not really a big deal. They were extremely helpful, tentative to my questions, polite, understanding, and not as pushy as youd expect a car salesman to be. Also provided some tips on car payments and building credit (first car I bought that needed financing). Overall I was very happy with the service. They fixed the minor problems I had with the car in under 24 hours and even loaned me a car to drive in the mean time. The 1$ car washes are nice, too, but thats just icing after an already sweet deal. They threw in a few extra perks and rewards, which I appreciated being added later, opposed to using as bait to try to goad me into making a purchase I may have been unsure about. Will definitely turn to them first for my next car and recommend them to anyone. If youre looking at Hondas its definitely worth it to come here first even if youre not sure yet.

I had a great trade-in experience at Fox Honda this week. I was greeted by friendly sales staff that listened to what I wanted/needed, and then casually showed me options. I never felt pressured once. Having done research ahead of time, I was fairly confident in the models I wanted to look at, and I was pleasantly surprised at the detail of descriptions (in laymans terms) that I received. I took a few vehicles for a spin and made my decision right then and there: I loved the Honda Accord EX as it was just right for me. Russell Nappier was my salesman, and he worked with me on a trade-in. He went above and beyond to get me in my new car in a short amount of time. Everything from the appraisal process to the buyout was streamlined and not painful. I felt I was getting a fair deal and was treated with courtesy and respect the entire time. When it came time to finalize the deal, I also worked with Jim, the Finance Manager, who was friendly, efficient, and highly knowledgeable. I was out in my new car in no time. Isnt that what everyone wants from a dealership? :-)

I have always had bad experiences when dealing with dealerships in the past. Ill admit Im not the easiest customer to deal with, but that shouldnt matter. That being said, Jade at Fox Honda went above and beyond when helping me pick out a used car. Jade was very patient and I never felt pushed into anything. I ended up buying a 2015 Civic. They were very fair about the price and I felt like a got a good deal. Todd took care of my financing and was awesome to deal with through the whole process. Pitched the normal protection plans and when I said "no thank you" he left it at that and never tried to push me into something I didnt want. So a few days after I purchased the Civic I notice there were a few pieces missing from the tire jack assembly and the mats were for an Accord (which cant blame them, they almost looked like a perfect match) but they said no problem and ordered the missing pieces and brand new mats. They have definitely gained a new customer for life and I plan on buying a new Civic from them in a couple years. Thanks Jade!
