Sold me a used/formerly rented crimper as "new" for 90 bucks. After I realized the crimper had been used, I went back for exchange. They only had one more used/rented one. Their return policy is within 3 days you get 90% back, after two weeks only 50% back. I really only wanted an exchange as mine was crimping slightly egg-shaped consistently. Since he only had another used/previously rented to exchange me, and a return would be a kick in the shorts, i exchanged for the other used one, will see how it crimps. Not happy with the lack of transparency. Putting used/rented tools back in its packaging and back on the sales floor at full price as new...Every other store I know keeps their rental inventory separate from their saleable inventory. Here, they pull from the same shelf for rent or final sale. When the rental comes back, it goes back on that same shelf, and the next person comes in and grabs thinking hes buying a new item. If he discovers any issues (very possibly caused by previous renter(s) ) and comes back for a justified return, he gets a percentage penalty.

After reading all the reviews I felt like I should chirp in. This place never ceases to amaze me. There are two bad reviews. I think they were thinking of a different store in a different State. This place has mock ups of plumbing and electrical on the walls and even on the shelves. Customer service is above and beyond any other store that Ive been too. I went to Home Depot and asked a guy in the plumbing section about a holding tank and pressure switches for my well system. He looked at me like I was from a different planet and sent me to the water heater section. The people at Grovers had all the stuff I needed and fixed me right up. I have asked them about electrical situations before and they were very knowledgeable about the NEC book and helped me in those situations also.

Grovers in Vancouver has the most amazing service. They have a team of professionals who are very knowledgeable in every trade. If they dont know the answer they will find out for you. They are quick to help and get you on your way with as much knowledge about your project as possible. They always have what I need with expertise as opposed to Home Depot where you may never find what you need or anyone to help you. Roger was able to get me out of a jam. Had a hard time finding the part that was needed. He spent some time calling around and figured out where to get what I needed. Over the top customer service. Absolutely the best in customer service extremely knowledgeable. Usually they know what youre doing before you have a chance to speak if you walk in with a handful of old parts! This Is Not a Home Depot High School store these guys know their stuff! Great job staff you guys are completely awesome!

Unfortunately it wont let me use no stars. This place has the absolute worst costumer service ever. Every time I have called or gone in, I was treated like crap. Employees made it seem like I was unconvincing them when I asked questions. Luckily home depot is just down the street.

Store is setup with plumbing and electrical experts on staff to help you with any questions you have. Want that old feeling or being welcome in you old town store? This has that in spades. Local so you arent supporting Walmart or Home Depot.

I have been happily going to Grovers for over 35 years, since they were down on Fourth Street in downtown Vancouver. Always an A-plus experience. Big Box stores are nowhere near in service comparison.

Ill be replacing a Bathroom exhaust fan, I bought this back I Think in 2011 from Grovers and they had my Part in stock lets hope they still have this Part in stock when I visit them tomorrow.
