My experience was horrible! I bought a car for my wife and it went to the mechanic more than 6 times in less then 5 months and each time they kept the car for more than a week.My a/c broke and they sent my car back to their mechanic and charge me $400.00. The mechanic put a use compressor because they said that they dropped and broke the new one.After that my window motor broke they sent my car back to their mechanic and didnt even check what was wrong and told my wife that he was going to charge $200.00 with the cart-mart discount to fix the window, so I bought the part for $50.00 and another mechanic charge me $25.00 to put it on.I have to admit that they have some good people and I could say the names they try to work with customers. The point is that they charge way to much for cars that have so many problems. Problems you dont know is there until after the three days is up. I forgot to mention that there are some interior parts in the car that are super glued together! This car has had so many problems, too many to list! For the amount that I am spending on this car, I could have bought a newer one through a dealer ship. The only good thing about car mart is that they dont check your credit. If you can avoid buying a car from them...DO IT!

Very unprofessional & they are not customer care friendly. Sold me a vehicle with no oil in it & a week later the check engine like came on. The car came with a 12 month warranty so I called them & asked if they could look at it & fix the problem and they referred me to auto zone instead. Refused my payment of 250 dollars because I was short of 50 dollars, in which my car note is 300. They told me they had to have the full amount by no later than 6:00pm in which I just got off work & got there at 5:50 pm. I tried to explain to them that I could pay the remaining balance of 50 dollars the next day, they never came to a agreement or understanding, never bothered to have any concerns or ask what my circumstances were Or come up with a solution for me. They refused to let me leave the office till I came up with the remaining balance & was very demanding and disrespectful! Ill never do business with them again after the experience Ive had & I would never recommend anyone too either! :)

The buying experience was more than acceptable and they definitely treated me with compassion and as much kindness as they could. They all did. Every employee. And of course, right? They want to sell a car as that is their job. Some of you may have zigged when you should have zagged on the lot as in most cases ya get what ya pay for. You didnt really expect a car with 125k-200k miles to not have any issues correct? And you were also wise enough to buy the warranty which is better than nothing on a used car. Doesnt cover EVERYTHING but it does cover some pretty major inner workings of the transmission and engine. The driving experience is seemingly okay. Idles where its supposed to. Runs at factory temperature. Spark plugs and wires look new. Oil is FULL and CLEAN! Im satisfied and were something unforseeable to happen and is covered by warranty, I dont get any feeling that they wont stand behind what I paid them for. Thanks a lot guys!

Do NOT get a car from Car-mart. I got a car from them in 2014, of course it was a POS. I had a gas leak after the first day so had to pay $50 to their mechanic. than about 6 months later my radiator had major problems, it was leaking n overheating causing me to have major transportation issues. So I am trying to work and get costs for repairs along with the WEEKLY car payment and I guess I was 2 days late and they came and reposessed the car. It was a POS anyway so I was kindof glad to see it go. Here it is 2016 and carmart is atrying to make me pay for the car they repoed in 2014. Mind u the car has been resold and has another owner. So Im sure the new owner is making payments and now they are trying to make me pay over $5,000. Its a headache and I never heard nothing like it. DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH CARMART IN HOPKINSVILLE KY THEY WILL HAVE THESE LITTLE SPECIALS TRYNA MAKE THEM SOUND GOOD BUT THEY REALLY SETTING U UP FOR FAILURE

I have never had any issues with Car Mart, they have always worked with me. The vehicle we bought there has not had any major problems and for that I am thankful! There is always a BUT........ I do wish they were more customer friendly when it comes to current customers. There are a few that are customer friendly but most are not. I also wish they were more informative and willing to answer questions or give options other than just saying you need this! I feel more comfortable talking on the phone with them then asking questions while there only because they act as though you are bothering them or interrupting them. Overall experience "business " wise is great.

i pay 465 a month on a car and today I only have 300 and I asks if I could pay the 165 on the 1st bc they knew I was on ssi and they told me I could get repo over 165 not being paid and I have never been late!! dont go here they are court happy!!!
