Bought a used boat from this business. During sales process was given a list of "installed" items on the boat, as well as told that the boat had a brand new motor in it. Had Mr Bill Roberts personally tell me he would stand behind the motor and the boat. Only 75% of the items stated to be on the boat actually were installed. I understood it was used, and was willing to overlook some items due to age, though only half of the installed accessories actually worked. Spent a majority of the boating season waiting for Mr Roberts folks to figure out why the engine would die unexpectedly. Found out it was a rebuild, which was finally replaced (free of charge) by the company that rebuilt it... but only after having Mr Roberts start back-pedaling on his word to stand behind the work. Boat was returned from the shop with damage to the rear boarding ladder that was not there originally. Was told it was ordered and would be replaced free of charge... that was five months ago. Electrical issues (namely with the starter) ever since the engine was replaced. Trailer that came with the boat was not road ready: brake system was inoperative and even the lights didnt work. This company will smile and take your money without a second thought, but will not have the common courtesy to be up front and honest with you. If you are buying a boat, buy it somewhere else.

My boat motor was stolen while in his care and the owner Bill Roberts will not return my calls either. Were in court now and he claims no responsibility for Keeping our Boats Safe, so do not take your boat or leave it in his possession, it is not safe and what ever Damage is done to your boat it will be your RESPONSIBILITY. He wants to Cheat me out of 1,000s of DOLLARS. I am a Retired U.S Soldier, and REQUEST all Soldiers in Clarksville to UNITE and BOYCOT THUNDERROAD MARINE. Bill Roberts is an UNETHICAL Business owner. GO ON FACEBOOK AND SEND THIS TO ALL SOLDIERS WE KNOW.
