This puppy store has to be one of the worst run ones I have ever visited. The staff lacks customer service and treats the job as a time to socialize. They do not care about selling the puppies they just sit behind the desk treating their customers like some sort of felon; they check ID as soon as you enter and if you do not have it you are only allowed to look at the dogs, even if you are over 18, they confiscate your purse, and they stare you down even after all that. My daughters went to play with the puppies and my eldest was told she could not hold the puppies and she is 23 years old, most of the workers stared her down as she was in the store and all the dog cages were locked so even if she was allowed she still would not be able to play with the majority of the puppies. When she left they sarcastically told her to have a nice day and then proceeded to stare her down through the window. Another time before this my youngest daughter was playing with a puppy that ended up biting and scratching her, there was no sign saying the dog did those things. Luckily, my daughter did not get too badly hurt.I went to inform the worker of this and to suggest they put a sign to warn other customers about this so a toddler would not get hurt, and as I informed her of this, she responded with "oh well, maybe she should have stopped playing with her" and did absolute zilch about it. The staff here is rude and do NOT deserve any business for their absolute lack in customer service and even just in their manners.

I felt compelled to write something. We got our little boy from The All About Puppies Brandon store. We were scared because all of the horrible reviews about puppy mills. We were so scared we decided to purchase a little girl from a reputable breeder. After we purchased her something kept nagging at me so I decided to do more research about puppy mills and the care the puppies actually received. According to what I read, any facility can be considered a puppy mill if they dont follow certain rules and guidelines. Some of these guidelines are silly. One could be consider a backyard breeder over silly things too. We decided to go back and get our little boy. Luckily the vet technician at our vets office previously worked at All About Puppies. This woman loves animals with a passion and had nothing but good things to say about the store. Our little guy came with a care package from the breeder. He was cared for very well and loved very much. I suggest doing research on your own. I understand people feel shelter dogs deserve homes too but the last dog we had from the Humane Society in Louisville Kentucky had rickets. He was an adorable little lab mix. He was in so much pain all the time he would attack our children. We were only able to keep him for 2 weeks. That was after spending a fortune on vet visits and medication not to mention all of his supplies. We also had to pay a $250 fee at the shelter. You can have a negative experience anywhere. Our puppy is doing amazing and we absolutely love him.

In 2009, my family and I got our first puppy from this store. We brought her home, and she started fading immediately. We took her to the vet, only to discover she had Parvovirus. We had no other pets, so she could only have gotten it from the store. Parvo is a highly contagious, DEADLY viral disease that without treatment can kill a dog within 48 to 72 hours. Parvo can live in the environment for months, and can even survive on things like bowls, shoes, clothes, carpets, and floors. We are one of the lucky few, and with extensive around the clock care, she pulled through. But that doesnt change the fact that she came into our home with a deadly disease. What if we had other pets? This virus could have eradicated our entire furry family. I volunteer at my local animal shelter, and when I told my supervisor that my puppy had parvo, she was SHOCKED to discover that she had survived. If that doesnt make you realize how big of a deal this is, I dont know what will. I will NEVER buy from this pet store (or really any pet store) again. There are preventative measures that can be taken to avoid this, like NOT taking in dogs from puppy mills, and CLEANING AND STERILIZING EVERYTHING. Please adopt, dont shop. Go to your local shelter to find your new family member, there are so many sad, homeless sweethearts sitting in cages, needing a second chance.

Adopt dont shop. The puppies in this place are locked up like theyre in jail and when walking in you have to show ID and they confiscate your purse while being in there. My sister and I went because we were debating on looking at the puppies, she didnt have her ID on her; however she is 3 years older than me, and looks like her age. They informed her that because she did not have her ID that she would not be allowed to hold the puppies, even though she is older than the guy that informed her of this. She decided she no longer wanted to be there and the workers sarcasically said "Have a nice day" and as she walked to her car, the workers stared her down like she was some sort of criminal. When we were in there most of the puppies cages were locked prohibitting play as well. The animal shelter 5 minutes down the road has more leeway than a puppy store and charges less. So if you want to look at dogs and not feel like youre being watched every step of the way go adopt dont buy becuase All About Puppies in Brandon, Fl. Is definitely not somewhere i would do business with.

I purchased a 1300. yorkie here. I put 500 down and they told me I could finance the rest, and to fill out the paper work to see if Im accepted. I asked her how much the interest rate was. She said she couldnt tell me til after I applied. So, I put 500 down and and owed a little over 800, which I financed. My payments were a lil over 66 bucks a month. After a year and a half Im still paying. Then I called the WAGS co. and come to find out Im LEASING the dog!! $59 of the $66 payment is going to the RENTAL fee! If they would of been up front and tell me this BEFORE I got the dog, I WOULD NOT have gotten her. They did not mention anything about it being a RENTAL/LEASING job! So, I just want to make ppl aware. PS, Our dog was sick and kept sneezing and we had to take him to the vet within a day or two. She also had some rash on her back end. Scratching and biting constantly and her fur was falling out. Took a while to find out it was mites. Weve tried so many medicines for her.

We got our little girl few days ago, she is a 2 month old beagle. We were really excited and when we took her home we noticed she was sick 4 days after we took her to their vet clinic(santa cruz) and they told us everything was fine but we decided to take her to our own vet and we found out she had bacteria that was causing her diarrea, next day she started coughing so we took her again and she had a respiratory infection with a urinary infection(very dangerous for a dog that is this young). We called them and they said that they would not cover her treatment instead they sent us to the same clinic where they just gave us antibiotics without really checking her. They dont care about the health of thekr puppies all they care about is money. They get their puppies from puppy mills, and lie about having hood breeders. This is why some of the puppies have health issues. It breaks my heart knowing that my little girl came from a place like this and knowing that she wont ever be the same
