Yes, like the other two review said, they do have variety of choices, thats why IT WAS good. BUT Yuck! When this place grand open, their groceries are Fresh with great price. but dont know what happen to them recently! alot things they have are EXPIRED! and I had experience this twice this year! first, I bought the soft drinks from them. I did not check the expiration date assuming they are good when I bought them, but the next day when I drink it, I realized they are all expired months ago!!! So I took It back to them to just let them know that those pile of drinks are Expired! However, the manager was acting like she does not know anything and said "That is the Production date"!!!! I was like WHAT!!!! I had EXP next to it!!!! it is the EXPIRATION DATE!!!! so from then on, I check the EXPIRATION DATE very closely and I also told everyone around me to be careful on the expiration date! and Today! my cousin when bought a few tea drinks from them, It was on sale buy one get one free! he checked the expiration date it was ok, so he bought them. Yet AGAIN, when he got home. He realized that they put a sticker with a different exp date on top of the ORIGINAL EXPIRATION DATE! and again, the drink was EXPIRED!!!! what kind of business is this nice little neighborhood business turning into!! It was great place, everyone shop happily till now I come out filling disgusting and angry at the way they do their business, and the way they treat their customers. Also, their cashiers are not the most friendly cashiers neither, or I should say they are pretty rude!!!!!

Always an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they wont approach you. You have to get their attention, or else they will just be part of the background, stocking shelves. One stock clerk helped us find asifoetida, which could have been in any Isle. The items are categorized, more or less, by country, rather than types of food, so each Isle is like a visit to a different country and culture. But they are always changing the way things are stocked, so you do need a guide -- and a lot of patience. They just rearranged the produce section, which is chock full of bargains, but its real appeal is the variety of vegetables and fruits that you dont ever see in Publix or Winn Dixie. The seafood department is another treat. And its enormous. I try to shop at Foodtown once a month. Its an adventure in shopping.

If youre a foodie and you love exotic spices and foods, youll LOVE this place. They have fresh fish, fresh meats (including goat and halal), a ton of Asian veggies (fresh lotus root, yam leaf, daikon radish, bitter melon, etc.) along with a huge selection of Asian and Middle Eastern spices. I always try something new when I come here. They also carry exotic fruits like jackfruit, jicama, longan, rambutan, and durian. You can request to have the jackfruit cut so that you dont have to buy the whole thing. Some of the labels on the canned goods and packaged foods are not in English. Thats personally not an issue for me seeing that I come here for the fresh food, and I dont really buy anything in packaging other than the spices. If youre bored of Whole Foods, definitely venture out here for a wide variety of ethnic foods.

Shout out to Crystal to that poor customer service of yours Way to go make a customer looking like a dummy in the podium and blame the poor communication on me It takes 3 pages to call you up front to handle a small complain and your assistant rolling her eyes and ignoring me is not helpful at all.I love this place that Ive been coming here for over a century and I never once returned an Item but the first time I do I have gotten the worst and unprofeesssional customer service and please stop calling me Honey its like an insult specially if you just going to accused me of something and instigated that I want to return an Item coz I left it in the car or out in the fridge.I have given you guys so much time to fix the problem yet it seams to me that I am just wasting my time and was given the run arrounds.

My wife and I have shopped at Foodtown three times since moving to Southern Florida. As other reviewers have noted, Foodtown has a great variety of Chinese and Indian foods. Excellent. Also, we have found, for some reason, the food to be much fresher and longer lasting than that of Walmart. Just why, I do not know. Prices are also good. I am a big salad eater, and the last heads of lettuce we bought were 98 cents per head, compared to Walmarts 1.49. Same comment for apples, tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables. If you eat a lot, and I mean a lot of veggies, this is perhaps one of the best places to shop in Southern Florida. The store is rather chaotic, however, but to tell you the truth, I enjoy that, too. I find the overly organized stores, in a word, unnatural.

Really lacks customer service and needs alot of training on dealing with customers (including the manager). I bought eggs a few days back then found out that they are rotten and has some black spots from the inside. so i just took them back to the store to return them, but the manager was like how do you want to return them and you have consumed some of them. I dont know how she wants me to know theyre bad without consuming them?!!!!! Besides not even apologizing to me she just blamed it on me that I dont have a receipt and didnt return them the next day!! Disappointing!!!!! Saturday August 26th, 2017 At 1:00 pm

some things are good because you find what you cannot find in others stores. I dislike the smell. I guess is for the fish in the back area. I dislike also the thing that you cannot return or exchange some things even if is expired. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE DATES OF THE PRODUCTS BECAUSE SOME ARE REALLY OLD. especially those that are in the coolers areas. i bouth this chicken cobbobs and when i came to cook them they smell nasty. the product was expired and they did NOT acepted back neather exhange for other. the money went to waist >:(

Their return policy & I quote "No refund after 24 hours for Meat,Frozen & Produce items. All other items, refund with reciept within 7 days of purchase. No refunds without reciept.Deli &Bakery no return items after 12 hours."..Unrealistic,I do not cook everything within 24 hours of purchase, nor I live across the street from Food Town, so how is this policy helpful? I have bad experiences with their expired items & rotten chicken that was claimed fresh. Rather take my business elsewhere.

The best place in the area for finding all the exotic spices, meats, vegetables, fruits and food you need. They have everything from Asian, Caribbean, South American, Halal food. There is a small bakery section in the front of the store that will make your mouth water. There is also a hot table with a small eat-in area. The fish selection is amazing. I went in looking for Asian food and was happy at how extensive the selection is. Cashiers are friendly and the prices cant be beat.
