I bought my car early this year, no hassle, no haggling. Gave me a truly fair price on my trade in. I bought a 2008 demo - $5000 miles - the best deal ever. Franz Mausser, the owner is awesome. His team is nice as well. They found fantastic financing and put me in the car UNDER what I was budgeted for. The car is great. Last week I had to take it in for service. Im not sure if it was covered under warranty, and I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS, Conrad Mausser serviced my car and gave me a rental. Dealing with a family dealership is nice. They care. This is the most ethical, moral and easiest dealer Ive ever had to deal with. I read 11-2-10 review, and I as a victim of identity theft; I am grateful when someone is careful & tries to protect me. I am sending everyone I know here. I love their attitude and their service.

We just bought my wifes car from Barrington Volvo last week. The staff there is extremely nice, honest, and will work with you to provide the best deal. Im not sure why the last reviewer did not like the phone service. Although, I did notice a refreshing lack of pressure sales from the sales team. We dealt with Dave from sales, and a bit with the general manager. These guys are older, very experienced Volvo guys, and they are not going to hound you or fast talk you into a sale. But, they will answer all your questions honestly, and work to get the best price for you. I recommend purchasing from this dealership.

SO MUCH better than my two prior Volvo dealers where I purchased my Volvos and had them serviced (Orloff in Chicago and Patrick in Schaumburg). Honest, kind, no BS where the salesperson says "I have to talk to my manager" and jacks you around endlessly when you are trying to buy a car. Service people are great as are sales people. I will only ever by a car from Franz & his people going forward. Its the only car buying experience I have had in the last 30 years of buying cars that was a complete PLEASURE. I never post reviews but these guys earned this!

Our salesman was great, but the general manager was unbelievably rude. We needed the car the same day we purchased it. They DONT have weekend service or porters so they wanted us to wait until Mon or Tue to pick it up. We explained again we needed the car that day and would go to another dealer if they couldnt accomodate us. The general manager said, "OK, go!" End of conversation. We took our business to Schaumburg Volvo and had an outstanding experience. Dont waste your money in Barrington, go strait to Schaumburg and get 5-star customer service!

I visited this dealership to view a used vehicle that I had found online. The salesman and mechanics were honest with me and provided all the information available regarding the vehicle. Although I ultimately decided against the vehicle, I was not pressured into purchasing it. Everyone was very polite, courteous and respectful of my decision. Even the sales manager shook my hand, handed me a business card and asked me to call if I needed any other assistance. I will be returning if I see another vehicle that I am interested in purchasing.

Just took delivery of a new XC90 from McGrath Volvo. Since the McGrath family took over this dealership late 2016 it shows in the experience. Go see Trey (Manager) and Franz (sales associates). I was pretty specific in what I wanted and they found it for me out of state and brought it in. Franz then hand delivered the car to me at my home in Elmhurst to make things more convenient. The car is awesome but what mattered more was the way they handled the sales experience. Look forward to the new relationship.

I recently purchased a car and their service was excellent, from the sales person (John) their GM (Dan), and their service department. The vehicle needed a couple of minor repairs, one I knew upfront, and one my mechanic found during the inspection. They quickly set me up to bring the car back to be serviced, provided a loaner and they even delivered the car to my home once the job was done. They were also very good to follow up after the fact to make sure everything was going well.

I was extremely happy with the service, staff, selection and pricing at this dealership. Everyone I spoke with was knowledgeable and friendly, and the buying process was efficient. I dealt with Tarlan Aliev in sales and found him to be very helpful. I also enjoyed working with Sonny Raza on the finances. Everything was explained very clearly and his experience in the industry was very evident. Overall, this was a very positive car buying experience.

**Edited** Honestly. Everything was good only the first week. Things started to fall apart really quick following the closing. They apparently try to make a sale and the follow through is crap. It took 3 weeks to mail me my paperwork so I can get my plate and new title out of state. Then the paperwork was wrong, and I had to wait longer. Expired permit and all, I have to hope I get this corrected paperwork some point today. **Edited**

I had a great experience purchasing my Mazda 6. My salesman John was very nice, helpful, and non-pressuring. The GM is very flexible with prices. I got a great deal on my car and trade in! THE absolute most honest, stress-free, easy car deal I have ever done. I was searching for this exact car for 2 weeks. Saw it on his lot. Emailed the dealership from their website, got an immediate response. And, the same quick response to every question I emailed him. Walked in two days later. Franz did exactly what he said he would do. No games, no bs. Extremely kind and polite. I ENJOYED buying this car.
