As a home inspector and contractor, I always like to have an appliance store to recommend to my customers. I cant recommend Garner TV & Appliance more highly. This is their North Raleigh store. The original store is in Garner. Dont let the name fool you. Kitchen and laundry appliances are not an after thought. Garner TV and Appliance is a family-owned local business. The founder immigrated from Egypt in the 1960s and fixed TVs and electronics prior to opening his own store. Amgad Saad and Rita HInes, children of the founder run the store now. They are knowledgeable about appliance features, get to know your situation, help with model selection that is right for you and will tell you the truth about various brands. They even throw in interesting facts such as Bosch dishwashers are made in New Bern, NC and Whirlpool is bringing the manufacturer of some of their appliances back to the United States from Mexico. Their prices are competitive because they work with other independent stores to get buying power from the manufacturers. The best part is the service. No 1-800 numbers to fool with. You just call them and they handle sending the repair man out to work on your appliance should there be a problem...which I have to say does not happen very often in my experience both personally and with my customers. I had a great experience with Sam as my salesperson at the Raleigh location. He was very helpful in explaining Speed Queen products to me. Then, to top it all off, I had the VERY BEST delivery and installation done by Ross and Keith. I am 57 years old, and they are by far the VERY BEST delivery men and installers I have ever had with any type item I have ever purchased. They were thorough, did very neat and clean work, did a great job of explaining everything, and in general I felt they went above and beyond. In fact, they were so good that I would buy products in the future from your store just to be able to have them do the installation. They restored my faith in a professional job done well and thoroughly. They wanted to make sure I was completely happy with everything before they left my home. These two men are very fine representatives for Garner Appliance.

If you want a great local business to work with then look no further. Last year we were building a house which if you have done it before is a very stressful time. Part of the process is selecting appliances for your new home. We got to work with Rita and Amgad and it was a fantastic experience. They listen to what you want and make recommendations that work with your budget. We will never build another house but we will always go to Garner Appliance and Mattress for any future home needs.
