Ordered a custom door for my house on a Sunday after we moved here to Lockport-they told me someone would call me Monday to schedule the install through Home Depot that i paid for-i called them 7 times with no call back, kept getting the run around. They kept saying "you will get a phone call first thing tomorrow" SEVEN phone calls over the period of THREE weeks with no response is ridiculous, i dont know what their malfunction is but nobody owns up to solving an issue-they just pass it on to the next person. It wasnt until i called the store manager that i was called within 30 min to schedule the install. Dont count on them for anything important, they have continually let me down since we moved here & started using their store. I am used to the store on transit in Clarence/Williamsville- they have their stuff together. I would use a different branch or a different store all together

Horrible service. Ordered a Gorilla swingset for ship to home figuring it would be easier than picking up in store. Shipping company wont go into driveway and will drop it off curbside only. I have a stone driveway on which a 1000lb loaded pallet jack will not move. So they have to drop it off on a main road. I called local home depot to see if shipping company can drop it there for me to pick up same day, they said that due to liability and some other excused they cant do that. They want me to cancel $2200 order and re order again but ship the same swingset to their store instead of home. Its probably going to be the same set delivered by the same shipping company. Whats the difference? I spent tens of thousands of dollars there. Thanks for not helping me out.

Store management of this store sets the tone for all customer relations and after speaking with Store Manager (Amy Berg) I understand why reviews of this store are all negative. On February 17th, 2015 I visited the Lockport Home Depot with my disabled son and asked to speak with store management after a sales associate was rude and upset my son. After Amy Berg argued that the associate was only looking out for my son I asked for the district managers name and number. I asked for this information 7 times with Amy Berg arguing the associate was only trying to help and on the 7th request was told she did not have the district managers name or number.

We purchased a washer and dryer. They had Griffins Home Delivery remove the old ones and install the new ones. They did not mount the drain hose properly. While doing laundry the drain hose came out of the pipe and everything pumped out on the floor. We have an upstairs laundry so it ruined the laundry/bathroom, hallway, three bedrooms, and downstairs family room. In total $18,000 damage. If you want to buy at Home Depot thats fine just install it yourself.

While there often arent any knowledgable associates around, I have to say Ive never gotten anything less than courtesy and a desire to help. The problem is (at ALL Home Depots Ive shopped in the last eight or nine years, the lack of expert knowledge. Really, why would real experts be working retail anyway (and anywhere)? Cashiers and service desk people are great, and almost always give that little bit extra. We LOVE Lockport, NY Home Depot!

Most staff are very helpful and will stop what they are working on to help you find what you are looking for. Speaking with retail experience, stopping and helping customers cuts down on how much time you have for day-to-day duties making them more hectic to get done. So it is very refreshing to find employees who are able to balance their workday with such excellent customer service.

South Transit Lockport, NY Store: If you expect to be treated like a customer here ... forget it! Store Manager "Steve" belligerent little tough guy attitude is unacceptable and unprofessional. Watch for triplicate, or more, charges to your credit card. Unfortunately, this is the only game in Lockport.

I think the store is great. for the most part they have everything I need. But getting someone to meet you in a dept for help sometimes is impossible. Maybe it was a busy day who knows. Happened a couple times.

Im in here three or four times a month. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I never have trouble finding someone to help me when I have a question.
