!! TIRE DAMAGED BY TECH DURING VALVE STEM REPLACEMENT!! Took my sons truck in for a valve stem replacement. My sons tires are 35x12.50x18LT BF Goodrich mud-terrain T/A. When the service was done, my son pays the 11.77 and home we go. Once we get home we look at the tire and notice a gash in the side wall of tire near the valve stem. We know without a doubt this gash was NOT there before we took it to Discount Tire in Clermont as we had inspected the tire and gone over it with soap and water to find the leak, which is how we knew it needed the valve stem replaced. So we return to Discount Tire in Clermont and speak to the Manager. He and another gentleman look at the tire. They tell us it looks like it is only cosmetic and could have happened when they popped the bead. OK so the Manager says, well I can give you your money back for the valve stem. These tires are fairly new and cost well over 300.00 each and he wants to reimburse me for the valve stem replacement. As we talked I advised him that this is my sons daily driver and he travels at speeds of 60 - 70 mpr on the highway. I am very concerned that this gash will weaken the integrity of the tire and put my son at risk. I would like the tire replaced as this was done by his service tech. So the Manager offers to reduce the cost of a new tire and only charge us 228.00. So a valve stem replacement is now going to cost me over 200.00. This is clearly the result of an inexperienced tech or a tech that was not paying attention when handling a large tire of this size. I do not feel that we should now have to pay out this money to ensure our sons safety for a tire that was in perfectly good condition before this service. The Manager said that he cannot authorize a tire replacement and would have to email his AVP. I asked for the AVPs information but the Manager said he could not give it to me. We have been doing business wtih this Discount Tire location for several years. We are truly disappointed with the lack of customer service we are receiving. The Manager said that he would call me tomorrow with the outcome of his conversation with the AVP. I am very eager to see what will come of this.... To Be Continued.

Bought 4 new rims and 4 new tires totaling 1400$. The sale went perfect. I waited patiently in the building for an hour and twenty minutes for the rims and tires to be installed. As they are pulling my car out I notice the center cap on the front left tire is missing!?!? I told the guy Im not leaving without the center cap, his response was "oh yeah, one was missing when we took them out of the box." After a few minutes of me saying I am not leaving without it he gave me one off their display rim?? My points here being, Yes they were fast, Yes the purchase went smoothly, No the quality is not great at all. If you notice a part is missing you should inform the customer before you install them, I find it amusing that I was given a scratched part off of a display when I payed for a set of NEW rims. Watch them and check your car before you leave..

An interesting place that was highly recommended to me. I have a Toyota Truck and tires are hard to find, most tire stores have to have them delivered and do not stock them. Discount Tire Store did have the tires in stock and were able to install them the same day. When they estimated the time for completion of installation they were way off. I returned to the store at the latest time of completion and installation had not even started. It was over an hour later that installation was complete. Another point of interest is that they do not do alignments there so you will have to go somewhere else to get it done.

Never been happier with a tire purchase! Thank you Discount Tire. Excellent customer service & unbelievably fast. I was in the store at 8:00 AM and my car was ready by 8:20! This was my 1st experience purchasing from a Discount Tire store. Ordered a set of 4 tires over the stores Internet portal. Received a call from them the next day informing the tires I selected were no longer being carried by the tire manufacture. Shawn, the store manager gave me 4 upgraded tire replacements at the lower price as the ones Id previously chosen.

Called first, spoke to Justin. Quoted me $52 per tire however forgot to mention that there was a $16 fee per tire to install.......found out when we got there. Then when I told him we never "discussed" any fee, he became rude and said "Yes we did" Really?? I would have remembered an outrageous fee of $64 to put tires on. Will NEVER go back and I will tell everyone how unprofessional and rude he was to us! There are several tire places in Clermont that I will send my friends and family to! DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

They will charge you for stuff that you dont need. Bought tires from discount tire direct cause they were cheaper. Took the tires to them and we previously discussed pricing for mounting. At the end the invoice wasnt what was discussed. They charged me $28 for tpms rebuild kit that I didnt need since its a relatively new car. Then they tell me "basically the same price as buying the tires here". The way I see it, if you didnt buy the tires from them, they will get your money somehow

I have used them in the past, I tried to use them again and they have become more aggressive then a used car dealership. They said they would price match but gave me the runaround, another shop offered me a lower price before mail in rebate, Discount kept trying to play stupid saying after the mail in rebate it would be cheaper then the competitor. I told them if they dont price match just say it and thanks for wasting my time playing games.

They do a great job! And as soon as they get rid of that stupid tread wear sign board, this will be a 5 star place in my book. The staff is helpful, courteous, and professional. I watched an employee explain something to a customer no less than 4 or 5 times. As far as I was concerned, the customer was an idiot but the employee never raised his voice or lost his patience.

Excellent pricing and fast service! I worked with Michael from Discount Tire and he was just born to be a professional in the field of tires! He is a great asset and if anyone else there can be half as knowledgeable as he, it is no wonder this organization is getting the hottest reviews!! Wish we could get the same friendly, expert advice at other tire places.

Excellent customer service, and they really take care of you. I have an expensive set of custom wheels, and they are always extra cautious not to damage them. Most tires shops wont do this. Even other discount tire locations that ive been to are not as careful as this location. This is the only place I will trust with my wheels!
