If you go to drop off donations, the flow of traffic has a pretty inhibiting bottleneck along the right side of the parking lot (facing the store) sometimes, and especially weekends, so dont park on that side if you want to leave in a timely fashion. Also leaving that area to get onto Sunset has been notorious through the years for traffic incidents. Id recommend exiting further down the street closer to Rite Aid. Its generally safer. Coming out near Plum Delicious turning left is tricky because of the blind curve that people speed around. Hence, a handful of accidents. Otherwise the store itself is all right. I feel that usually the clothes and shoes donated and available seem less catered for people in their 20s but its worth just trying to sift through when youre not being particular.

Most of the items are WAY too high a price for a 2nd hand store. I laugh at some of the items in the household goods -- theres a few that are the same or even more as a NEW one in Walmart or Target -- and its USED! And No, its not a better quality. The person who is pricing the items does not know what theyre doing. They need someone older whos been around longer -- who really knows what a sale is. What fair is. And I dont mean they have to give it away. But not to cheat the customer either. Ill go to Value Village or Salvation Army or St. Vincent De Paul, thank you.

They suposedly are helping the community. All i see is they are helping the community spend money. When you buy something and return it because it does not work or for whatever reason they will not refund your money they will only issue a giftcard. For a company that recives everything they sell for free they also want quite a bit on things that are obviously in high demand. There are better not for profit second hand stores that help the community and are by far less greedy then goodwill who only care about getting and keeping your cash

Not a good experience dropping stuff off. You have to drive around the back of the building, there was a LONG line, only one guy helping unload and the guy was slow moving and asked us if we knew the new drop off line was behind the building. We clearly knew, since we had very obviously just been in the line. I realize Goodwill is a job training program, but this guy needed some more training before being left alone at the drop off at a busy time. Having more than one car able to drop stuff off at a time would be nice too.

I went into the Goodwill store out of curiosity since Id never been to one before and was very pleasantly surprised. Its well stocked and organized. A few of the items they carry are new. Even though I wouldnt buy used clothes there are some things in such great shape that were happy to give them a new home and a longer life . At the register the lady decided to give me a discount without me asking for it. Im definitely checking back from time to time

The stores on Sunset need a little remodeling and upgrading. Im getting a little uncomfortable shopping on Sunset Blvd due to the unique run down neighborhood atmosphere. If you dont mind second hand items, who knows how old, I would recommend this location. Sorry but I shall not be supporting stores that resell items you donate. Kind of defeats the purpose of donating. The items do not go towards the individuals that "really" need them.

Horrible employees. Every time. Lazy is the nicest thing I can muster about them. The other day I tried donating my passed away grandmas recliner chair and they wouldnt take it because it was "dusty". No tears or any damage whatever but it was a little dusty so they couldnt sell it they say. I guess taking 5 min to maybe vacuum it was too much work for them. A recliner that cost me $400 when new.

I love this place, resellers will complain about pricing cause they dont make easy money offloading the stuff on ebay but pricing is fair and the employees are so helpful.. Dont forget the show case!! My wife gets coach handbags that look brand new for like $40! And they are always stocked with designer stuff, its eBay price without the shipping costs... keep doing what youre doing!

Donation site is unorganized, they have it on a fire lane and get mad when you drop off in certain areas with no signs for direction. The pick up people at the donation center grabbed my stuff from me as I dropped it off and almost threw it. Im glad the guy second guessed doing that. Proper signs would have prevented the unorganized drop off section.

Skeletal Remains

This location always has an abundance of furniture especially shelves, various kinds of tables, and desks. Great value and exceptional prices on a lot of their housewares also. The rest of the store is mostly undesirable, not very clean, and not reasonable in their pricing.

Donations area is unorganized, has bad placement. Doesnt look like they have enough workers there is stuff outside every where. The entrance by the plum restaurant is dangerous to enter. Have seen many almost accidents. Prices are getting high.

Fairly large Goodwill store. Always a line for donation - my only problem with this store is that, if you are donating, you HAVE to stay in your car and wait for the line (at least according to one or two employees - it varies).

They rejected perfectly good furniture because it wasnt fancy enough/was a little biffed from the move. Had to go to St. Vincent de Paul- which is an actual non-profit. Do not recommend this location, nor this organization.
