My dads doctors office had sent a medication prescription to the this pharmacy be filled. The MA from the doctors office spoke with me and said she’ll be faxing a prescription to be bill asap. A week later, my dad stopped by to pick this medication. However, a female staff [with an accent] said there want any medication on file. My dad then called me and asked the staff lady if she can speak with me, since there’s some kind of MISTAKE . My dad fluent in English but he’s can communicate pretty well. She refuse to speak with and kept saying…. I DON’T KNOW… I don’t feel comfortable and I don’t see any medication on file. Obviously, there’s a miscommunication. THIS WAS A WASTE OF TIME, ALL THE STAFF PERSON HAD TO DO WAS SPEAK TO ME TO FIND MORE INFORMATION REGARDING THE PRESCRIPTIONS. I had to call the doctors office to only find out the it has been faxed a week ago. AGAING WAS A WASTE OF TIME TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED. I THEN...called down to the pharmacy to ONLY FIND OUT FROM ANOTHER STAFF, THE MEDICATION IS READY FOR PICK UP. THIS IS THE MOST REDICOULOUS COSTOMER SERVICE EVER! MY DAD WAS ASKING FOR HELP AND SHE REFUSE TO HELP FUTHER. IT’S ONE THING IF YOUR TALKING ON A CELL PHONE FOR PERSONAL CALLS VS HELPING A COSTOMER OUT. SHE’S NOT EVEN MEETING THE COSTOMER SERVICE

Great place to shop for whatever is on your list. Thus their jingle, "whats on your list today? Youll find it at Fred Meyer." Its pretty much a one-stop shop for clothes, groceries, home and garden items. My favorite thing about it is the complimentary childcare. Its a small area with tons of toys, coloring and a small TV if kids want to watch a cartoon or kids movie. You can put your child in (2-4yo) for an hour while you shop. So convenient! I cant remember the name of my favorite attendant, but I know she wears glasses. On top of the different departments I already listed, theres a jewelry section, a Chase bank, hot/cold deli section, sushi chef, seafood/fresh meats, pharmacy, eye care center and electronics (which has its own entrance and cashier). You can also get keys made in the home/garden section. They sell furniture and home improvement items. They sell shoes and apparel on the other side, alongside cosmetics. And I cant forget the adjoining Starbucks that also has an entrance to the store. Also if you shop here, you can rack up gas points and get cheap gas outside in their fuel station across the parking lot. Ive never had any issues with customer service. Theyre all nice and accommodating.

Stood in line at Customer Service for about 40 minutes last night. Only 1 person working the counter and she is extremely overburdened with the volumes of customers. People in line asked for more help, but no one is coming. Mentally ill and obnoxious teens roaming thru the store. At this point at least a supervisor or security should show up, but still no one is here, even though there are plenty of associated standing at cashier stands with less customers. Went shopping after that. big mistake. Its about 10pm and there are less cashiers now and longer lines. Self check out is even longer. Every employee is overwhelmed and stressed out. The store is trashed as well. I gave this store 4 stars 4-5 years ago. Not anymore. Its not the same. Its disorganized, messy, there is no security, to control teens and mentally ill customers. The gas station is covered in graffiti, homeless and addicts hanging around the bus stop harassing customers. How can a store change so much in 5 years? I didnt want to write a bad review, because this store was nice a while ago and was a good alternative to that crazy Wal-Mart down the street. Ironically Wal-Mart improved, but this Fred Meyer is steadily getting worse.

As I was checking out I let the cashier know that I changed my mind about purchasing a plastic file/organizer and took it out of the cart. She didnt respond and proceeded to ring the items I had in my cart. I asked her if it was ok to put the bin behind her. She rudely said "We dont have a lot of room!!!" So, I held on to it while waiting. Then when she got to the patio table she said "How much is this?" I said im not sure but I can go check (most places would call for a price check). I walked all the way to the back and in the process decided to return the bin on the shelf because I got tired of holding it (again, most places would just keep the item by the register). When I came back she asked me what the SKU# was. I said "Isnt that your job?" She snapped & said "Thats what I asked you to do!!!" I could not believe I was hearing this. I walked all over the store doing her job or someone elses job yet she had the nerve to get mad at me.

I requested cash back on a card. Krysta assisted me. I asked for her to give me some small bills and when she changed the money, she kept a $100.00. She told me she was sorry, however told her manager she was unsure she had done that. This happen at 5:19p.m. while I was preparing to take my 6 kids to the movies or family tradition for thanksgiving/nephews bday. Krysta told me I could come back and get the money. I arrived at 7p.m. I was then told by Isaiah the manager he was sorry and I couldnt get the money. The kids and I missed the movie, however we went at 10:35p.m. So in the interim, we had donuts and panda express while waiting costing me another $43.00. After their camera review and till count this morning I was cold and told I could come get my money.

This place is scary and dirty and I hope I never have to come here again. Once you come in, the lobbys floor is covered in coupons which from the looks of it have been there for several weeks now. The glass/plastic on the sliding doors are cracked and taped together. Not to mention all yellow from the years of not being cleaned. Shopping carts are old and falling apart. Cashiers are overwhelmed with lines and lines of customers, not being able to keep up. I waited 20 minutes at the cashier line as they were so understaffed on a Tuesday afternoon. Worst of all are the shoppers here, which I know is not something the store can control but I have felt so unsafe here. I saw two people literally pulling on my doors as I was walking up to my car.

I have been shopping at Fred Myers in Renton for as many years as they have been there and never received poor customer service. I also do not care if they are a little more expensive than the Walmart down the road. I hate Walmarts owners because of the way they use their money for political ambition and the way they treat their employees. Fred Myers does business better and they will get my hard earned money as long as they do business in a way I agree with. My father taught me that spending a dollar at a business is a vote for that business and the way it treats its employees, customers and community that it surrounds. Fred Myers has done all of that better than Walmart.
