love this place and love the people. When you learn to talk to the staff with respect and not demands you get somewhere with them. Very clean very upfront and for the most part, for you. Ive never once had a problem with any of the departments if there was the wrong kind of announcement they call me within 20 minutes, when there is a problem with a title they call me immediately and when i have a car postsaled i get a phone call or result from Arbitration within 8 hour. Everyone does their job there and they do it well. Id give this Manheim 5 stars if they had better control of the stragglers that walk in there with no dealer license or bringing their customers in to buy the car right there, that hurts the hard working average dealer. But overall, super solid and well kept place

I bought a Subaru from this auction. My shipper went to pick car up and it was not here. Shipper left the auction. I called the auction and asked what happened to the car? They said the car was at the auction. Sent shipper back again. This time it was auction day. Shipper called and said could not find car again. I called auction. Here I come to find out security was using my car for their personal use. It had magazines in it, bags of unopened food, drinks and the auction stickers they put on the windshields of the cars. They even changed the keytag to say Ives car. Put over 1,000 miles on the car driving inside the auction as a yard car. I thought I had seen it all. Would never do business at this auction. Second problem with auction.

This is one of the worst auctions in the country. Post sale inspection is horrible You have to pay anywhere from $90 to $150 to have them inspect cars and what you get is absolutely the worst inspection in the history of mankind. Your 5 year old can do a better inspection. We buy hundreds of vehicle and found this particular auction to be on the top of the list for very important things that are missed as a part of the inspection( Example, Engine is blown and has sludge, Transmission does not shift properly, Sunroof not working. Basic things that anyone can check) From the receptionist to the GM everyone treats customers with disrespect and contempt. Manheim should shut down this black mark of an auction. Just Plain Horrible.

Is there an option to leave zero stars?? This place sucks real good. Ive bought a car from there, talked to someone once after trying to call 10 times. Nice but said would call back never happened. Now a week later (a week, Im a business making a living buying and selling cars!!!!!!!!!) trying to call again to try to get the car I paid for....I dont know if I will. May be have to sue them instead.... I buy at MAnheim all over the country and while they are a few nice places, mostly in the south (avoid Chicago if you can too!!!!!) mostly this is now a big corporation with stupid rules and no control over their employees. I hope I get this car so I can sell it. I think they forgot thats the goal here.....

I cant believe this auction changed there policy about driving cars pre sale , it was the only reason I came there was to be able to check my cars before I buy , iv spent millions in inventory here and got quality cars for years , unless this policy changes I wont be coming back I can find better ways to spend 300k a month to make sure I dont get stuck with a bad unit that costs the dealership money, I trust my self more than the 12$ an hr post sale inspection guys they have working. Only good thing I can say now about Manhiem NJ is the general managers here are top notch, there good people , especially Gary,but this new policy cost them my business

Dont buy a car from simulcast and order PSI. Why? I payed money for PSI they passed a car with a ton of issues. The next day I went to pick up my car and it has transmission issues. When I brought it back to arbitration they say its not more than $500. Bad transmission, bad ac compressor, bad alternator doesnt cost more than $500? REALLY?! On top of all that I called to make sure my gate passes were ready, they say they are. I drove a couple of hours to this location just to find out that they dont have my gate passes. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

the worst of the Mannheim auctions security is nasty and rude came to pick up a car at 9:30 was told they close at 10 y did i come so late but wait its not 10 yet they sent me to the wrong lot to pick up the car closed the gate and claimed i got their after 10pm even though i signed for the gate pass at 930 they also charge for cars left on their lot they automatically run through the lines with out your permission all of the help just transfer you around pretending they dont know whats going on

Mean service.if you have a complaint and you would have to escalade it to the AGM or GM,get prepared to knock into God door office!my company got banned because i did not want to buy back a vehicle i sold,,,, after 24 days (24).PSI COMPLETED. PASSED..the car comes back with FRAME DAMAGE 2 SPOTS!!!ABUSE!! BBB MUST SHOT DOWN THIS LOCATION!!SCREW THEM! I chose to be in a different field. Mostly of the Dealers are crooks ( i was one of them) but the auction is the BIGGEST CROOK

When Manheim used to be for everyone is long gone. First, too many novice that doesnt know the trade spoils the bidding. Secondly, some of the auctioneers are biased. You have to put them in your pocket if you want to buy and sell well. The payment ladles are ok. Some are rude, but thats what you get when you have too many women dealing cash. Manheim really helped us grow... but long gone...bad market now... Dont even make me mention Skyline!...ugh

Terrible just terrible. One star the only choice I had to put. But seriously this place is the worst. Try adesa, or manhiem metro NY. Or Manheim PA or Philadelphia. Dont ever buy from here and think everything 100% good. Arbitration is like walking through hell. Youll never win. Staffs are lazy as hell. And hod forbid you need gas or air or a jump to move the car out the gate. Smh

One of the most professionally organized auto auction in New Jersey and also in East Coast. Theyre well trained and educated when it comes to "Know How" in business and costumer service questions. Also thankful for arbitration team members, especially Scott and Lloyd and super grateful powerful title department- Julia, Brittnay and Lisa!! Keep It Up, Manheim New Jersey!

Gate passes are not ready when promised, vehicles are not put on "outside" floor plans in a timely manner and the staff is rude and non caring about dealer complaints. Its a shame because other Manheim auctions do a great job at customer service and are on top of things. I buy on OVE and Simulcast frequently and Manheim New Jersey is the worst!

if you ever have a problem with a vehicle or title, which being in the business its a matter of when not if, dont ever expect top quality help from this place. they never return calls, they never answer and they do anything they can to make sure you get stuck with whatever car you bought. I no longer buy from here for that reason.
